"thank you"s are never too late

we had a lazy weekend. and yes, too lazy to be playing around with my mp3 player. hehe!

we were able to load it up with videos though. our wedding videos are on my player now. all of it, the ceremony, reception, avps, onsite mtv, messages. we didn't get the chance to thank those folks who gave us video messages... because we didn't know anything about it! when we popped in the dvd, there was a "Messages" menu. and there it was! family and friends, giving messages ranging from the wackiest to the most serious ones. it was a really nice surprise from edrie and his production team. =)

at the top of my head... thanks to maricoru, downna, caths, cinoy, aileen, jotster, gewi, raymond, hyden, liezl, aine, rommel, jayr, zced, tedants, and tito resty. of course there are our relatives and family friends. but they probably don't know about my blog. =)

it was fun recapturing the reactions of people during our wedding day. we were so "up there" at the altar, and eventually the stage, so far from our friends. we didn't get to share the moments with them, except when we had the pictures taken. some stayed until the dance floor was opened, but others have to leave early as it's a Thursday.

it was a blast hearing their messages, i didn't realize we were so loved by the people surrounding us that day. well, the attendance should speak for itself. i mean, it was a rainy thursday. not a very convenient day at all. no offense to those who got married on a sunny weekend, hehehe! but all the trouble just to be there, especially since most of us are members of the yuppie class. i heard that at SPI, the office looked deserted during the afternoon. my friends were probably setting aside webstars and builds to get into their gowns and have their hair and makeup done. it was especially flattering to see my officemates in barongs, gowns or skirts, with all the works, when at the office, they usually just dress up in pants, slacks, a blouse or a shirt. and kudos to our high school and college friends, who all stepped up to help during the preps, the wedding itself and the reception. it suddenly felt like a big club/org activity. what can i say, i have the veterans on my team! ;-) some of our friends whom we see only once in a year or two (some even three) were also there!

well, this isn't supposed to be a "thank you" post. hehehe! i was to report the mp3 player's video capabilities. but hey, grattitude requires no timing.
