maho mo!

two weeks ago, i discovered an alternative route to work. my travel time is faster by a good 5 minutes. on roads with max speed limit of 40mph, that's a fairly good figure. there are less cars passing that road, and there was only 1 stoplight, which i think is always GO anyways. =P the only downside is, i'll be passing by the solid wastes processing area.

you see, i love driving to work with my windows down and the sunroof retracted. besides the i'm-so-cool effect, it helps me dry my hair. hehehe! i usually don't have time to blow dry my hair. and i feel like it's just a waste of energy, and electricity (iba na talaga pag ikaw na nagbabayad ng kuryente! hehe!). i don't style my hair, so all it really does is, well, dry it.

anyways, so imagine my shock the first time i drive by with windows down... the stench! man! it's like i was thrown a huge garbage bag in the face! even after i pushed the windows up, it's like i still smell it! i was paranoid at the office, what if the smell got onto my clothers? people might smell me, i might be immune to the stench, all that crap.

and so, i keep my windows up every morning now, unless i see a car with windows down. so far, i'm seeing a pattern. every monday and thursday, the stench is bad. on some other days, it's not there at all!

the price for a little bit of time.
