soft, silky smooth... teeth

i was busier than a bee yesterday. i received my code review issues last tuesday, and i've been working on it since then. i got most of the issues covered, and was able to do successful tests. no sweat.

but yesterday, after getting back from lunch, my codes won't work! all i did was replace the tabs with 4 spaces, and remove trailing spaces. it's c++, strict with syntax and all that crap. i can compile it without errors, but it keeps bogging down when i run it, giving me out of this world error messages. i kept pounding on it, until i've decided it's time to setup my development environment anew, since i might have modified other stuff on it without even realizing it.

i copied over a hundred source code files to my machine again, and ran another full compile. it will take at least 15 minutes before i'd be able to test it again. i decided i'll brush my teeth first, and by the time i get back, it'll be at least 5 minutes off my waiting time.

i got up, got my stuff, and headed to the restroom, cursing Windows. i gargled, took out my toothbrush, and reached for the tube... there's something off.

i was holding my hand lotion against my toothbrush. i jolted. who took my toothpaste?! then i realized i grabbed the wrong tube. i hurriedly snapped back the cap before somebody else sees me trying to brush my teeth with scented lotion. =p

btw, the only problem i had with the codes was a type error on the configuration file. somehow i typed in extra letter. maybe while i was switching windows, i accidentally hit a key. i'm back to working on my codes now. =P oh geez, wish me lots of luck!
