CONGRATULATIONS to DR. ZCEDRICK B. ALAVA!!!

he passed the board exams, after missing gimiks, and after gulping down cases of beer to drown the pressure. =) i'm so proud of this guy!!! you deserve it zced, way to go man! =D

who would've thought this guy will ever become serious about something? he always jokes around, and makes fun, of either himself, or of you. hehehe! we all know he's serious about matters of the heart (*wink*), but studies?! that came as a surprise, especially since he's one of the notorious "first-sectioners" in HS. i think it was with him that hubby je had a deal, that they will come to school with just a ballpen, no notebooks, no books, nothing. rommel (another upcoming doctor) is probably with them on that deal. =P

he was a standard crush during our sophomore year when he played a role in an Ibong Adarna play. girls gushed about the "cute guy who shot the arrow". including me. hahaha! yep, all 5 (or 6?) of us girls in the group had a crush on him. the rest had a fleeting admiration on that "cute guy".

this new doctor also had a dancing career... danced to hyperventilation, to the tune of "Tootsie Roll" in a dance competition. complete will the breakdancing part. hahaha! we lost though. =P in cheerdancing, he was on the second level of the Tiger Pyramid, stepping on girly backs, while holding a manly butt and ankle high up in the air. oh, did zced get to hold our prima ballerina's legs while she's held up in the air, in a full split?!

• ABADILLA, JOCELYN MARY NAVARRO - #1 sa class! as in sya ang una sa class record pag alphabetical. hehehe! pero seriously, one of the consistent students sa class namin. "mama" para sa mga nasa first and second row ng section St. Dominica.
• AGNES, JAZEL ANNE PINTO - ulcer queen. matinis ang boses at malufet sumigaw. pag sya ang napapasigaw sa classroom, expect a lot of "shhhh!" afterwards. hehehe!
• CRUZ, MA SALUD CRUZ - #1 Alvin Patrimonio fan! isa sa mga haligi na nagpauso ng panonood ng basketball sa class nung senior year. (along with Irvie and Mea, hehehe!)
• FIJI, MA THERESA GO - one of the Twin Towers of the class. the other one is Abby Agaton. varsity basketball player, at hearththrob. ;-)
• RESURRECCION, I AM PANLILIO - ka-brother section namin. magaling magsalita in front of a crowd, and his famous line is "My name is I Am.", and he has a sister named Alleluia(?)
• LIM, PAMELA JOY GUILLERMO - friend from elementary. her name is so hard to forget, coz it's often at the top of the list of Top 10 students. hehehe!

and somehow, the following names ring a bell, but i can't remember from which lifetime i've bumped into them. hehehe!

• YUMUL, ABIGAIL FLORES
• BAUTISTA, ARIES JIMENEZ

and a side trip....

• COLLANTES, NORINA RACHEL PERALTA - i swear i know she's the daughter of Mrs. Collantes! i don't know her personally though, pero i know i heard Ma'am C mention that her daughter's name is Norina. Ma'am C's name is Norma P. Collantes, so if i'm mistaken, what a freaky coincidence! =) Ma'am Collantes is our dear English teacher in junior year. she got us all interested in poems, and her passionate way of teaching made us love the short stories, ballads and what not that you can find on our textbook. =P never again did we have a teacher as good as she.

and let me just mention, the first 4 names you see on this post were members of a 2-time champ cheering squad (2nd and 3rd year HS), and of the first-ever cheering squad that represented UST HS in the university-wide cheering competition. we landed on the 2nd place, next to College of Science. on the last year we were supposed to join the cheering competition (4th year), the Athletic's Club decided that all the seniors will just give an exhibition cheer-dance. thus the start of the "unification" of our batch. *bow*

Congratulations to you guys, for a job well done! libre pakonsulta naman dyan! hehehe!
