little realization 1: selective stage fright
life's little realization.... part 1.
i am more comfortable dancing in front of a few hundred people, than speaking in front of a dozen non-Tagalog-speaking people. is that what you may call, selective stage fright? =P
last tuesday night, i delivered 3 different speeches within 2 hours. just 2-minute speeches. but if you are speaking in your second language, it does become a chore.
i felt more nervous last tuesday than when i danced at the Educ Auditorium for the ISM play. or at the SPI office for the SilverScreen Dance Comp.
dancing, i'm in my element. speaking, i'm just blabbing away.
or maybe i should just come to class more prepared. =P
