may potluck kanina yung team namin, and our director made the announcement about my promotion dun.

then they gave out Hats Off awards. i got my fifth! =)

well, it doesn't feel like i deserved one this time. but hey, i'll take it! i somehow got the message that it's not for something i really did, because they gave only $50 this time. haha!

5th in 3.5 years, not bad for my target of having one a year. i should be good for the next 1.5 years. hehe!

i feel slightly bad for one of my teammates. 4 na lang kaming natirang onshore developer, 3 of us got the Hats Off, 1 lang ang hindi binigyan. i fear for my teammate, kasi wala rin naka-assign sa kanya ngayon na projects or even work tickets. now we'll see kung performance-based nga ba ang pagtanggal nila ng tao. at the rate he's going, i would think he won't last another year sa company.

anyways, just feel like celebrating. ok, saan ko naman kaya gagamitin ang $50 na to? food ulet? i haven't even spent the last $100 on the last Hats Off i got. i dunno why this is becoming a problem for me. *lol*
