happy friday syndrome
so i guess our prayers (or rants) were finally answered.
our 4th quarter software release is not going to be as insane as the past 2 quarters. some work tickets were pulled back to the queue and bumped down the priority list. it will be pushed towards 1st or 2nd quarter next year.
work is finally becoming manageable. we were allowed to have lunch na... this is some sort of an inside joke, kasi one time napagalitan kami ng amo namin for taking an entire hour for lunch, ano buzzzz! =P
speaking of lunch, i went to a going-away lunch party kanina. one of our offshore SQA testers onsite is going back to India on monday. the SQA manager arranged a luncheon for him, but only 6 of us made it, including the guy himself! i felt bad. parang di tuloy sya mami-miss ng tao. hehe! there's 2 offshore guys, our hardware specialist, the SQA manager, our director, and me. dahil 6 lang kami, nilibre na kami ng director namin. i wasn't planning on going this morning, but i already accepted the invitation yesterday. ang mga mokong kong teammates, at yung ibang SQA peeps, last minute nag-backout! i didn't feel like going na talaga kanina, kaya lang tinanong ako nung mismong guy kung sasama ba ko. we went to the resto at the nearby Hilton hotel. sosyalin ang mga tao, mostly naka-business attire (probably because we're in that sort of business park). naka-casual friday attire pa naman kami. hehe! pero masarap naman yung food. and the best part, libre! =P
anyways, for the first time this week, i was able to post something sensible at sarah's website. i was also able to check most of my personal emails. i haven't responded yet, but i have a general idea of the urgent or important matters to take care of.

tomorrow is a no-need-to-get-up-early day!
sunday is, well, sunday. hehe!
hopefully things are really looking up, and this is not just the friday-buzz i usually get.
