all our bags are packed, we're ready to go
we're all set and good to go!
packing our stuff took hours. for me especially, since i can't make up my mind on what to wear, taking into consideration the weather and the occasions. showing up in a semi-formal attire for a baptism on an ~50-60 degree weather will be pretty hard for me, since most of my semi-formal clothes are cotton or are styled to show skin. it's also an intimate family-friends affair, so even if i don't wanna feel conscious, i am actually conscious. the tanders will be there. i want to look as decent as possible, without sacrificing comfort. so my more daring clothes are pushed back to the end of my closet. i had to choose from my limited cotton tops. finally i decided i'll just bring a jacket to wear over my pink top. i have no choice, actually. else i'd freeze to death. =P
dressing up for the concert will be a little easier. i decided to forego looking "mature" and settled on blue jeans, cream sweater top and dark rubber shoes. it's a night event, and i know many people will be dressing up a little less sporty, but i am after comfort this time. i don't think people will notice unless i come naked or in pjs, and kebber ko ba! i don't wanna be waving my arms wildly during the concert and afterwards realize that the underarm part of my blouse was ripped open. not cool. although, i'm sure sarah will remember "that fan who ripped her top at the concert" if, or when, that happens. hopefully my sweater will hold up. hehehe!
when we finished packing, it seems like we'll be going away for a week. 2 big luggages! thanks to the bulky jackets and the extra clothes we're bringing, in case we need to double up our tops due to the cold weather. we will be checking in our stuff. what with all the OA security checks they have at the airports, i'd rather wait a few minutes at the conveyor belts, than unpack and repack our stuff at the checkpoints.
before stress eats me, i packed all the chargers we need: for the cellphones, ka noni, and zeni. all toiletries are in. it really helps to have a "travel-version" of your shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, deodorants, soap, etc... you don't have to worry about forgetting to pack them after the last time you'd use them.
i'm really having a hard time concentrating at work. i finished coding one work ticket yesterday, and i planned on testing it today. but since my mind is on-board the jet already, i think i'm gonna have to postpone it for monday. hehe! that is, if i can work without daydreaming about the concert. hehehe!
happy friday everyone! NY, here we come!!! =) 2 tulog na lang!!!

by the time you read this, you're probably already in New York. Yahoo! Have fun! Don't forget to take lots of pictures so you can put them up on your blog. =) I suppose when you get back we'll get two reviews - Sarah G's performance and Ka Noni's as well. =)
