cars made me cry!
yep, the cartoon movie, Cars. there was this music montage about how the Radiator Springs town in Route66 transformed from the busiest and liveliest place, into an almost ghost town, all because of the Interstate that was built to facilitate light traffic. i was laughing one minute, then tears rolled down my cheeks the next! hubby je was making fun of me na nga eh. eh bakit ba? =P
you guys should watch it, if you haven't yet. napalampas namin sa moviehouse eh, so je bought a dvd copy na lang. it's really a nice movie. lots of funny scenes. although, i think adults will appreciate it more than kids.
i suddenly missed my cars (yeah, as if akin talaga sila eh, hehehe!) ... Mike, the white toyota corolla na pawis-steering pero automatic transmission, at ilang beses nang nalubog sa baha, hehehe! There's Myrtz, the white pajero that can "swim" through any level ng baha, pero umatras nung paakyat sa Kelly Heights sa antipolo, nyahaha! and Skye, the brown landcruiser na may moonroof. mabagal pero automatic naman kasi, so carry na rin. and of course, si Lance! ang "owenge en gween" mitsubishi galant na talaga namang pinagkagastusan nang husto para pumogi ulet. i heard that it's still pimped out... body kit lights, high metal spoiler, 16" chrome rims, boom box sound system, race-car metal pedals, ball-tipped transmission stick, and leather, small-sized steering wheel. i heard from bro that he plans on changing the headlights into those glaring-white halos, and he's also on a lookout for a nice sound source that can play mp3 cds and probably satellite radio. ohhh, i miss flying through roxas boulevard with Lance! pati edsa, at quezon ave, at macapagal highway, at C5, at commonwealth, at marcos highway, at east ave, at kamuning, at kamias, at ortigas ave... hmmm, para akong nagre-recite ng major roads ah. ganyan karami na ang tinahak namin ni Lance, and not once nya kong tinirik.
i better stop naming my stuff, i get attached to them! =P
speaking of naming stuff. here's our latest list:
puti - je's car (white sciontc)
itim - my car (black integra)
leny - je's laptop (lenovo)
zeni - my mp3 player (creative zen)
ka noni - nope, not an NPA officer, but my upcoming camera (canon, kaya ka-noni)

Akala ko nung una si Mike ay may ari ng white toyota corolla. Si Mike pala yung toyota corolla. Wehehe. Oki sa names ah. May I ask why they were named as such. Gets ko si Skye (moonroof). Pero si Lance, si Mike, and si Myrtz, hindi eh. =(

reeyuh! si gonzy! from speedy gonzales nga dahil sa bilis. hehe! tsaka yung desktop namin dati, si ceasar, dahil naman sa bagal (kuya ceasar). =P
eto ang history ng mga names na yan:
Mike - i called him Mike, from "My Car". first car kasi yon na ako ang may "first right of use" eh. MyC-ar. MyC = Mike.
Myrtz - meron akong turtle na stuffed toy named Murtle-itto (murtle pronounced like turtle but with an M). then i got a small Porky stuffed toy na turtle din, and nilagay ko yon sa rear-view mirror ng pajero. so ni-warp ko yung name ni Murtle-itto, into Myrtz. parang Murts, pero sosyal version.
Lance - kasi Mitsubishi Galant yung model ng car. i was thinking of a knight's name, kasi sila ang icons ng GALANTry di ba? over dinner at Max's, together with anshe, thought of the lance that knights use in jousting. so ayun, Lance it is! over deliveration pa yan ha.
mas creative ata ako noon ah. hmmm, am gonna try bringing back weird names. =P
