the Raro team of Survivor Cook Islands finally won an immunity!!! woo-hooo!
they seem to be the stronger team compared to the dysfunctional Aitu team. but somehow, they kept losing the important challenges one after another. it's notable though, that their votes are almost always unanimous. that tells a lot about the team spirit. they seem to click a lot. but it takes more than that to keep their members on the game. they remind me of Captain America's team in the last season (Exile Island). i hope this is the start of the many wins to come!
on the rewards challenge, i wanted to wring Brad's neck for "sitting" on the swimming challenge. "i'm good with puzzles", he said. so? what good will that be if they can't even get the pieces? they know that aquaman (ozzy) will definitely beat their rears in swimming, rub it in by putting one of the less physical members of your team. simply a bad call.
but the immunity challenge is different. raro was trailing behind again, but parvati caught up. such a strong competitive woman! and a good flirt too. =P i didn't like her during the first few episodes, but somehow, her strength and determination makes her grow in you. most of the flirty girls on survivor is just that, flirty. but this girl's got muscles.
during the last lap of the challenge, it was jenny who saved them. you can see how she worked the puzzle pieces. adam was just standing there. hehehe! he's still looking at the piece and jenny's already picking it up, knowing where it should go. once again, it was proven that asians are good with puzzles. hahaha! =P
i'm just so happy that raro is not losing another tribe member. while i like candice, sundra and yul from aitu, i like everyone left on raro. well, maybe except for brad. hehehe! i am sooo looking forward to thursday!
amazing race is getting into my nerves lately. why do they keep marking teams for elimination, then have a fast-forward on the next leg? are they in favor of the kentucky couple? they have done it for BJ and Tyler last season. and since they are one of my faves, i let it go.
but this time, the producers are twisting the results more than they should be doing. it would be nice to know the rules of that leg BEFORE you race. di ba? kakainis lang. but anyways, i think this is one season where i don't have a runaway favorite. the cho brothers are nice, but they are not that lovable to me. hehehe! well, compared to the others, i like them the most.
oh well. phil, ayusin mo yan ha! no more monkey business!
