hello weekend!

friday na ulet! i am sooo ready for the weekend. we have yard work, laundry and pressing stuff to do. but of course, they're not the reasons why i'm looking forward to the weekend. i just want a break. from work.

the first 3 days of this week were insanely busy. i was going back and forth my 2 work pcs, one running on OS/2, the other on XP. why do they have to develop OSes in a way that some things don't work with one but works on another? better yet, why did OUR COMPANY develop a software that needs to run on BOTH OSes?! well, i can't do anything about it. i'm just glad i'm learning new things. it's so weird to be working on different OSes, when i struggled to get a passing grade in college in our Basic Operating Systems Concepts. i'm sure ma'am tabora-sison have lots of merciful fiber in her anatomy when she gave us a chance to make up for our bloody grades. i still can't figure out how to flip the binaries to determine if an IP address will be valid, but i do know how to develop and run c++ programs on unix, os/2 and windows xp. how ironic can it get? oh well.

then yesterday was a bummer, thanks to my officemate. enough said. it's already a waste putting up a blog entry about him yesterday. but i want to "document" that event for when the time comes na gumanti ang karma sa kanya. mean na kung mean, pero hindi ako heroine ng telenovela para magpa-api lang. not that gagawa ako ng paraan to make him miserable. i just won't be an angel when it comes to dealing with him. *evil grin*

today, it's still uneventful. not that i'm looking for happenings. but with the way the week has gone so far, i feel like this is another calm before the storm. paranoia na naman itu. =P

every second here in the office seems to be dragging. i feel like nagawa ko na lahat ng gagawin ko for today, but only a couple of hours passed. hmmm, lunch out na lang siguro ako para malibang at pamatay-oras na rin. happy friday everyone! =)
