back to the mainstream

i've gone hiding behind my monitor the whole week last week, and this morning. the first leg of the storm has passed. i'm waiting for another gust to come, maybe in a couple of days, or next week. i don't wanna know. all i know is i wanna try to enjoy my down time as much as i can, because i know i won't have lots of it in the weeks to come.

being busy is a good thing though. i spend less time looking for stuff to buy at amazon. i tend to focus more on the task at hand and not wander off the internet. i get to oil my thinking gears, and i'm learning a lot of new stuff at work. i missed blogging though. so here i am.

my sarah CDs came in last saturday. by sunday afternoon, i've got them copied as mp3s on my player, and i've got cd copies that i'd use in my car. i don't wanna bring the original cds. it just hurts so bad when you break them, or lose them. i once lost a cd case, with at least 2 dozen original cds in it. it took me a while before i got over the pain. hehehe! and the weather here is unforgiving... cold at night, scorching hot in the afternoon. i wanna take care of those origs. so copy i did!

many special thanks to my deary bro, who went around the metro in search of those cds. and to my tito in NY who sent it through priority mail just so i could have my fix of sarah. hehehe!
