i would've waited for proof that this thing is for real, but i can't wait for postal mail for 3 more days before sharing the great news. =)
i have VIP tickets to sarah g's Atlantic City (NJ) concert on nov. 19!!! sarah, we're coming to see you!!! woo-hoo!

some people knew about it already. like liz, who made me feel better by saying that a hundred-dollar-VIP ticket IS actually a good deal. hehehe! i knew i called the right person to make me feel better after feeling held up. being a concert vet, she knows the ticket prices of patrons at araneta cost at least 5k, shooting up to as far as 15-20K. and she was more than happy to share my ka-jologs-an to a different level. hehehe! patsy and arvs, my emailmates, knew about it too. and ria, whose voicemail greeting fooled me. i thought she picked up, saying "hi this is ria, what's up?" or something like that. hehehe!
i bought the concert tickets before i even booked plane tickets to NY. we'd get to NY and NJ whatever it takes, but if the concert tickets got sold out, i could never forgive myself! hehehe!
my tito ebet's newest bundle of joy is getting baptized on the 18th, day before the concert. so it would be like hitting 2 birds with 1 plane ticket. yessss! =) i just booked our flights to NY this morning, leaving Friday night (17th), going back Monday morning (20th), diretso sa office na siguro kami! =P got some cheap(?) plane tickets. actually, a concert ticket costs more than a one-way plane ticket!! ok, ok, liz said it's already a good deal. =P
there are 200 vip seats in the venue, hopefully we're on the first 50 or first 100. yesterday was just the 3rd day since they started selling the tickets, so hopefully, we weren't far down the vip list. i'm going with hubby je, my tito ebet, and his wifey.
i'm so excited!!! i'm finding it hard to concentrate when i think about the tickets. malapit kaya kami? i mean, i know malapit ang vip, pero MAS malapit kaya kami na tipong matatalsikan na kami ng pawis ni sarah?! hahahah!

ibang level na talaga itu! feeling ko 1 taon kong inipon yung pang-gimik ko dito, tapos isang alis lang na puro gastos. hahaha! =P
binut, i called up abby, we'll definitely meet up kahit for dinner lang. gusto nya rin sumama sa concert, pero sabi ko nakabili na kami ng tickets, so sapalaran na lang kung may makuha kaming same section. ewan ko kung game pa rin sya. hirap naman pag wala, pano yun, intayin nya kami sa labas ng venue? hehehe!

sure, i'll tell her. next time na mag-concert si sarah dito sa US, pag meron dyan sa CA, dyan naman tayo magkita-kita. at least may kakampi ako dyan, kasi fan din yung isang fwend mo binut! =)
