hiwows

for those who want the Heroes vids, here's a link to a blog na merong posts ng episodes nila.

http://onlinepb.blogspot.com/search/label/Heroes%20season%2001

sensya na nga pala sa mga naghintay sa amin ni hubby je ha, we encountered technical problems dun sa site na paga-upload-an sana namin eh. since it was just ~$8/year, we kind of expected that the technical support sucks. hehehe!

anyways, thanks to caths for the link! enjoy! =)

and yung mga latest episodes per week, nasa nbc.com po. in case mas mabilis mag-update yung nbc kesa sa blogger na to. hehehe!

i sooo love our bossing!!!!

this morning at work, an earth-shattering email popped on my inbox. it's from our counterparts in France, informing us that something is not working right in our codes. this is with regards to the first project i was part of. yes, it was back from deep slumber. after almost a couple of months of intensive testing in SQA.

anyways, with the way the email was written, describing the problem, i know it's something that could possibly be concerning the changes i made. i was reading the email over and over, and i can feel a deep sense of insecurity building inside me, that maybe i somehow missed something in my codes, and that it's probably my fault. i took a deep breath and left my cube to get free donuts from an officemate who won a bet. i was chatting with my officemate when i saw the email icon pop on his screen. he then said, "oh, it's an email from *bossing*". i wanted to rush back to my cube to check what's going on. but i stayed a couple more minutes to chat, then left with my perfectly-glazed free donut.

when i got back to my seat, i saw the same email. while i was reading it, i felt all the clouds parting. and heard angels singing. our boss just came to our rescue, defended the changes we made, and made our French counterparts sound like computer illiterates.

our boss have this way of stating things that makes it sound final. it's so inspiring when you listen to him talk. he is a natural born leader, and a smart one at that. he's just been recently promoted a director, but whenever we bump into each other, he's still the same guy who interviewed me 9 months ago... approachable, down-to-earth and funny.

when it comes to work, he will move heaven and earth to meet deadlines. but he's so lax when approving vacations and giving other perks. he's the kind of guy you would want on your side. he will defend you when he can, but when he asks something of you, just be sure to deliver.

needless to say, he's my hero today. =)

kewl talaga ni bossing! nag-teambuilding kami last month, laser tagging. natalo ko sya sa isang game, di sya makapaniwala, so rematch kami. aba, kinareer ako! ayun talo ko.=P after that game, tinuturuan nya kong mag-trash talk. hehehe!
