2010's out!

we went to the Toyota and Honda car dealers this afternoon, to test drive their 2010 Sienna and Odyssey minivans, respectively. can you believe it, sold out na! october pa lang ah! i guess toyota and honda didn't make a lot of this year's model dahil may mga upgrades yung 2011 models ng sienna at odyssey. 


umuwi kaming hindi naka-test drive. we were hoping we'd get a good deal on the 2010s dahil may 2011s nang released. usually, the current year's model go on sale towards the end of the year, dahil may newer year models nang lumalabas. pero yung mismong availability pala ng kotse ang problema, hindi yung presyo. =P there were a few pre-owned (second-hand) ones, pero we agreed na brand new ang kunin, para more peace of mind na wala talagang problema yung sasakyan. 


sa ngayon, we're searching online kung saan merong brand new 2010 sienna or odyssey. we kinda gave up on finding a brand new 2009. if we don't find a 2010, malamang 2011 na kunin namin. it'll be at least $3000 more. and i am not happy about that. the reason why we waited towards the end of the year is to get the 2010s on sale and save money. i don't care if 2011 is out, it's just a year model. in a year, luma na rin ang model na yon, and guess what, the $3000 will be part of the depreciated value na. loss. hay.


at this point, the search is not looking very promising. i am bracing myself to lose $3K to pay for a year of saying we got the latest model. bull.
