biometrics

i finally got scheduled for my biometrics para sa naturalization ko! whoopee! =)

i am seriously hoping i'll be scheduled for interview before i give birth. but knowing the way these things go, i'd probably wait half a year to get everything processed. well, at least, this is a start.

i don't imagine there'd be any dramatic changes in my life when i get naturalized. but i think becoming a US citizen will help open opportunities for me and the family. there are certain jobs na US Citizens lang ang pwede. di rin ako nakakaboto ngayon (not that it really bothers me, especially with all the mudslinging on tv. hehe!). plus, i don't ever wanna go back to the Philippine Embassy here to renew my effing passport! i just hate the red tape. the palakasan thingy. if i will be dealing with government offices, i want the fair process na. 

anyway, i am getting ahead of myself. get over the biometrics muna, then wait for the interview schedule. hopefully i pass that interview and test, THEN i will post again. =P
