short week

i am looking forward to the short work week.

thanksgiving is this coming thurs. the black friday sale is the best part of this holiday. hehe!

and since our company shortens the office hours the day before a holiday, we are allowed to leave early on wednesday. and oh, all week is dress down week. hello jeans! =)

i'm afraid i won't get much done because of the holiday atmosphere. one of our teammates is out on vacay. the SQA manager is out on vacay as well (he got married last week), which means their team won't be calling for a build anytime soon. i'm not sure who else is out, but even last week, it has been awfully quiet in our area. it gets dark early too, which messes me up because i feel like i've been in the office too long when it's really just a normal schedule.

i have a couple of things i plan on working on. one is a critical work ticket about a production issue (i'm collaborating with one of the sqa peeps). the other is an enhancement to my baby project (the work is not yet under the radar but might heat up pretty quickly). if i can get at least some intelligent development on those two, i would consider the work week a good and productive one.

i can't wait! the 4-day weekend is a welcome thing. especially since i have to prepare for our vacay trip na rin... ohhhh vacation.... *drifts off to dreamland*
