2 months and 2 weeks since my last post... hello blog, i missed you! *hugs* =P

almost 1.5 months na kaming nakabalik from pinas. 1.5 months pa lang pero ready na kong magbakasyon ulet. hehe!

and bakasyon it is! uuwi ulet kami sa pinas ng April 3-18. actually, around April 5 na kami makakarating. 2 full weeks in pinas, woot woot!

pero bago yon, yun munang past vacay namin. sobrang bitin pa rin, pero marami namang highlights, so carry na rin. hehe! i can't remember some of the stuff, pero for sure it was something like we went out with family, or some family or friends were over at the house.

Dec 25-26
we left very early on Christmas Day. we're anticipating na maraming tao sa airport eh, so nagpa-sobra kami ng 1 hour sa target arrival time namin sa airport. there was a slight drizzle. the wind is cold. the streets are empty. families are probably having their Christmas morning rituals, and kami ni je, we're on board a taxi, thinking of the stuff we need that we might have left. the check-in was uneventful, the security is just about right. we had spare time to get some breakfast before we headed to the gates to start our looong trip.

the trip to Pinas was fairly uneventful. i said fairly because we didn't know then that there was something going on at the Detroit International Airport on Christmas day, the same day we were there. thank God the only hassle we got into was a couple hours delay. it could've been worse. God is good!

Dec 27
we arrived at around 2am sa NAIA. medyo gutom na kami then, pero may sinigang daw sa bahay kaya diretso uwi na muna kami. hehe!

we slept well naman, at around 7 or 8am, gising na ulet kami. punta kami sa karapatan at nakorner namin ang mamang magtataho. aba, tiba-tiba sya, halos kalahati nung lalagyan ang nabili namin. after ng taho-lamon adventure, sumakit na lalamunan ko. i didn't know then na may nagbabadya na pala akong sakit. =P

then bumalik kami sa bahay sa vision para magsimula na magbukas ng bagahe. i remember when i was a kid, this is one of the things i look forward to pag may umuuwi galing japan or US. not so much para makakuha ng pasalubong, pero just to be there and smell the stateside box. haha!

si dharica ang da best moment nung nagbubukasan ng bagahe. when she saw the Dora trike, she ran towards it with arms wide open, up in the air! nakakatuwa! sulit ang headache kung papano ibabagahe yung lintek na kotse-kotsehan na yon. hehe!

after that, tinanong namin kung gusto nyang mameet si Dora. sabi nya oo daw, so we told her na kailangan nyang pumasok sa bagahe para madala namin sya sa US. tumahimik lang ang bruha, so we thought that's the end of it. maya-maya, lumapit sya kay lei at sabi papayag na daw syang pumasok sa bagahe! haha! so all those times, pinag-iisipan na pala nya. hehehe! ayon, she's got pics of when she was given step by step instructions by lei kung anong gagawin nya sa loob ng bagahe. =P

Dec 28
nagsimba kami sa st.clare nung umaga, we met tita petchie and my cousins sa simbahan na mismo. then dumiretso na rin kami sa pagbisita kina tita baby since malapit lang ang bahay nila don. pag-uwi, pahinga lang sandali then pumunta na kaming sementeryo to visit tatay, ina, ama and tito nato. it's just sad. visiting them sa cemetery brought back memories of when they were still alive. i miss them badly. =(

then that night, dumaan kami nila je at papa sa xmas party ng mga popsters. sasaglit lang talaga kami don, but we ended up staying for an hour. eh shempre may ispeysyal moment ako with sarah. after ng invocation, pinaupo na muna lahat. eh nakita ako ng mga katoto ko, so they ushered the host to bring me and lei closer to sarah. lapit naman kami shempre. then ayon, hi-hello, beso-beso, chika-chika. i gave her our gift and one that was from a friend in NY. tapos si lei nakipag-kuwentuhan pa ng konti, chuchal! then bumalik na muna kami sa silya namin kasi nagkakagulo na. hehehe! nakipagchikahan muna ako sa mga sgcom friends, then nung kailangan na talaga naming umalis, nilapit ulet kami kay sarah! beso-beso ulet, goodbye-goodbye. nung paalis na kami, naisip ko, sulit na agad yung uwi namin that night pa lang! hehehe!

then diretso kami sa family dinner. dapat manonood kami ng comedy show, pero di nila gusto yung magpeperform. we ended up having dinner sa Dencio's sa harbor area. unang lapat ng ice cold san mig beer sa lalamunan ko. refreshing! it was like a drop of water after being in the desert for far too long. hehe!

Dec 29
je and i had lunch with vero, vian, gewi, tsugtsug, raymond and ria @ vero's place. it was nice to see her family again, i can't remember the names of vero's big family, but i guess they somehow know our backgrounds because they seem happy to see us. hehehe! vian is such an adorable kiddo! the last time i saw her, sanggol pa ata sya! hehe! ngayon, bibong-bibo na. and the best part is sandali lang sya nangilala, pero after that, she's such a sweet little gurl. =) mana sa ninang, ano pah? hehe!

it was our first time to meet tsugtsug! ang laki nyang bata for his age! or baka maliit lang kasi ang mommy nya? hehehe! he's a very charming kid, marunong mang-hook with his smiles. but man, pag gusto nya, talagang gusto nya! haha! walang nagawa si gewi when he wanted the markers. subagay, eventually he will meet the fate of the palo ng tsinelas or rolled-up newspaper. hehe!

that afternoon, nagpractice kami ng sayaw para sa bday ni mama. sobrang kalokohan ng mga kamag-anakan ko! hehehe! tito ebet was unleashed on the dance floor, aba, sumasayaw din pala sya. at malambot ang katawan in fernez! we had a great time... talagang pag sayawan, di maawat ang mga kadugo ko. sasayaw at sasayaw kahit anong mangyari. hehe! it was one of the craziest, busiest, funniest days ng bakasyon namin. buong angkan namin ay sumayaw! pati si papa! oh yes, marunong nang umexit si papa ngayon. hahaha! natuwa naman ako kasi yung mga insan ko na ang new generation ng dancers. so ganito siguro ang feeling nila tita hydee at tita hannah noon nung nagsisimula na rin kaming magsayaw-sayaw nila eibron. hehehe!

Dec 30
this day flew by for me. i think we just stayed home since i wasn't feeling well, and je and i did the AVP thingy for mama's 50th. i also remember practicing the other dance number with eibron, lei and toyo. i think i'm getting too old for hiphop. but then, i don't really dance other stuff. so keri lang, sayaw pa rin kahit hingal na hingal na ko. hehehe!

Dec 31 - Jan 1
halos lahat kami nasa SM that morning to lunch time... looking for dresses and shoeseseseses. grabe lang, i forgot how fun it was shopping for clothes sa pinas! pakyaw ako ng dress at tops. i ended up buying 3 dresses, 4 tops, 1 semi-formal sandals, and 2 casual sandals. on top of that, nag-uwi pa kami ng jollibee.

early evening, we had the traditional year-end-slash-mama's-bday party sa karapatan. nakakatawa yung mga bata. there was a game na para lang sa mga 3 years old and below, and it was a riot nung maglabo-labo na sila dahil di pala nila naintindihan yung mechanics ng game. i haven't laughed that hard in a while. =P halos maiyak kami kakatawa. hehe!

another highlight of the night was yung inuman sa tapat ng bahay nila mommy letty. we have a family picture taken... sayang, sila tito humphrey lang ang wala. nandun kaming magpipinsan, and that seldom happens dahil sa side pa lang ni tita hannah (japan) at tito ebet (us), mahirap nang ma-timing na sabay umuuwi. *sigh* sayang talaga wala sila tito humphrey. and of course, we missed tatay a lot.

moving on, ang saya ng party sa karapatan. hehe! siguro dahil umiinom na rin yung iba kong pinsan, kaya di na ko nagsosolo with the tanders. hehehe! around 2am na ata nung medyo nagsimula nang antukin yung iba. so uwian na muna at pahinga dahil may big day for mama's bday the next day.

mama's bday party!!! i want to add a completely separate entry for this, dahil uber haba ng kwento ko about this. hehehe! all i can say is... sulit lahat! =D

Jan 2
we met with ninang chona (mam cachero) and jello sa RobPlace. we initially agreed on lunch at iti-treat nila kami ni je, kaya lang napakain kami ng almusal sa bahay kasi late na kami gumising at medyo alanganin na rin yung oras. so we went to starbucks na lang for dessert. binigyan kami ng polo shirts ni ninang chona, yung may mapa ng pilipinas sa left chest area. it's nice, one of the instant faves. hehe!

then diretso na kami sa navotas to visit nanay dore, tita alice, and je's cousins. then bumisita na rin kami kay dad sa pancheon. sandali lang talaga namin balak dun, kasi may farewell dinner na rin sila tita hannah at tito ebet since they are flying out the next day.

so diretso na kami sa yakimixx dinner with the entire family sa timog. pinasunod ko na si ria don so we can spend time with my family na rin. and besides, i know ria is the perfect "date" to a japanese buffet dinner, i know she loves sushi, maki and jap food in general. so ayon nga, dinner muna kami with family, then nung uwian na, we decided na dun na lang mag-hangout sa bahay nila.

we started on white wine na, at nakapagchismisan na rin kaming konti ni espren... when alfredo, rommel and tenten started contacting me. since we're free for company naman, pinasunod namin sila sa bahay nila ria. at doon na nagsimula ang unos. *lol*

nalasing si je! nilaklak nila ni rommel yung jagermeister nila ria, with coke as chaser. i've never seen je so giddy, kaya alam kong it's not his usual self. and true enough lasing nga ang mokong. hahaha! inabot pa kami ng family ni ria, and i get to see tita becks, tito noe and jr again, galing silang enchanted kingdom. nung pauwi na kami, we were on board rommel's van... je opened the window and shouted for JoLas (jojo lastimosa, na kapitbahay nila ria) to come out and play hoops with him. sobrang kaloka!

i was worried je will throw up sa kotse ni rommel. umabot naman kami sa commonwealth at naihanap kami ng taxi nila rommel pauwi. hawak ko yung plastic bag all throughout the trip. itong si je, sumasabay pa sa kanta sa radio. *lol*

pagdating ng bahay, habang nagto-toothbrush na kami getting ready for bed, nauntog sa lababo si mister! *lol* he miscalculated yung faucet, and when he leaned over para dumura, tumama yung noo nya sa gripo. *lol* tawa sya nang tawa, and we looked like lunatics dun sa bathrooms, trying to supress our laughters dahil tulog na lahat ng tao. needless to say, when je is on a laughing fit, and he smells of alcohol, you can be sure lasing na sya. hehehe!

Jan 3
the next day, bumalik na sa huwisyo itong si mister. he went with me sa ism reunion @ red box trinoma. gutom na kami by then, kaya i paid more attention sa food kesa sa kantahan. and besides, i don't really sing. =P KJ ako pagdating sa ganyan eh. unless siguro lasing na lasing na ko. hehe! we were running late for the gown measurement appointment with tenten and rommel, kaya nagpa-alam na rin kami while the rest of my ISM friends went some place else pa.

after ng gown measurements, lipad na kami papuntang megamall to meet my popster friends for dinner. we had a hard time finding a nice place, but i'm glad when we chose super bowl kasi namiss ko na yung lemon chicken ng big buddha eh. andami namin, and it was fun! i finally met some of the big names sa website ni sarah. i can't believe that i'm with a bigatin bunch of professionals, all sarah fans. 2 long tables pa kami, kaya masaya at maingay! we were there for almost 4 hours ata? haha! and they were so thoughtful, they brought me a bday cake, advance celebration daw kasi wala ako sa pinas ng bday ko. awwwww. =)

kung di pa magsasara ang megamall, di pa ata kami uuwi.hehe! i look forward to seeing them again sa april. at sana makapag-ASAP na kami next time. hehe!

Jan 4
medyo lie low na ang araw namin nung 4th. we met mam uy sa ust, and as usual, walang katapusang chismisan na naman kami ni mam! *lol* andami nyang updates, and to think na wala pa syang facebook ha! she's really updated with news from almost everybody from ISM. tapos bumisita kami sa new student activity building sa tapat ng commerce. i felt like a stranger in that place. =P it was great seeing mam uy again. she somehow symbolizes order and consistency in my life.

then that evening, we went to dinner with liz and tintin sa parilla. medyo nahirapan pa kaming puntahan yung place kasi medyo tago sya. but the food was really goooood! =) no wonder dinadayo pa sya ng mga tao. hehe! after dinner, tintin had to go back to work (she works sa abs-cbn kasi eh... hmmm, free ASAP passes!), kaya kami na lang nila liz ang nagstarbucks. sila je, eibron at lei, nasa isang table, at nandun kami sa katabing table kasi liz was puffing. *lol* we only had an hour of catching up, pero meaty ang mga chismaks. mostly about work and life and the little happenings and struggles. it made me realize that yeah, this is real life with real problems and real villains and stuff. how time flies.

eibron's bday! inuman galore shempre! i honestly can't remember what we did that morning and afternoon, but i remember na sila lei at je ang bumili ng cake para sa bday party that night. andaming friends ni bro na dumating, kahit weekday. i'm glad to see them nga rin eh, kasi after all, parang ate na rin nila ako dahil ako lang ata ang ate ng generation nila na nakikipag-inuman sa kanila. hehehe!

rommel, tenten, vero, vian, mel and marge made it. the other kadas, i guess it wasn't the ideal time to ask them to hangout kasi nga weekday. i understand naman. di na rin ako nagpilit kasi alam kong magkikita-kita kaming lahat for sure sa april eh. =)

Jan 6-8
we had our nth honeymooon sa davao. hehe! i really can't say it's a honeymoon, but the place is soooo nice! we got the samal house, and first time kong matulog sa bahay sa ibabaw ng tubig. *lol* i was scared to death nung gabi, kasi the sea was nothing but pitch darkness. yung feeling mo na pag nahulog ka doon, wala kang huhulugan, you're forever falling, falling, falling... yiiii! iskeyri talaga!

well, i'm gonna skip the adventures on davao, but all i can say is that the place is awesome! very private. very serene. masarap ang food, lalo na ang pandesal. hehe!

we agreed to meet nanay dore, tita baby, tita alice and their families sa Dampa sa macapagal highway for lunch. grabe, parang bibitayin na kami sa dami ng food, per it's still very cheap compared sa kain sa ibang lugar. it was more of je's day to spend with them, kasi nung bisita namin kay tita baby sa lavista, at kina nanay dore sa navotas, parang lagi kaming nagmamadali. so actually, i left je to spend time with his family. nagpasama ako kay eibron at gumala kami. =) after that, uwi na kami at nag-hangout na lang sa bahay. nagsimula na akong mag-impake kasi baka mamaya may maiwan pa kami. i guess medyo nasasanay na rin akong mag-impake. i'm proud to say that i packed our 4 luggages myself! naks!

we had dinner with the entire family sa Max's sa SM San Lazaro. if there's one place i'm sure they'll all have fun, bata or matanda, it's max's. it was bittersweet having that dinner. knowing na next day, i have to leave again. i don't think i'll ever get used to the rotten feeling when leaving home. *sigh*
