sarah's homepage v3.0 now up!

sarah's new homepage is now up! hehe! i'm so proud to be working with such a talented and dedicated team. * insert several worship icons here*

the design came out first, months ago. but the staff is so busy with their respective day jobs and personal commitments, so we were shooting for at least an end of the year launch.

but the site's founder thought, well, how about on sarah's bday (July 25). that was 3 weeks ago. so the staff went to (frantic) work, researching info, compiling them, writing up articles, sorting pics, uploading to the gallery, laying out everything.

it was agreed we will launch at midnight going into July 25 sa pinas, exactly sarah's bday. that would be July 24 noon time in the US. so our deadline is actually earlier by at least 12 hours. hehe! well, it was worse for our admin na nasa west coast, kasi that meant his deadline = 9am.

day before the launch, we were having second thoughts if we should proceed. the website guru who has been helping the group commented the site still looked half-baked. but hey, something is better than nothing, right? if we could put something out there to keep the members "busy and entertained" while we work on more stuff, that would be good enough for now. our aim is to make the deadline, not to make the homepage perfect.

up until the last few minutes yesterday before the launch , the admins were pounding on the homepage, moving the directory structures, and hoping nothing breaks. our two most techie admins worked together. ang galing nila!

so there. that's the story behind the launch. please feel free to browse around, read articles and stuff. i want to ask your help in proofreading the articles, some of them were written in the wee hours of the morning, after a loooong, tiring day at work. =P
