little things to be thankful for
sometimes i find it hard to be positive. i have a lot to be thankful for, pero minsan talaga i have my episodes. lalo na pag nakikita ko ang pagmumukha ng amo ko. hehehe!
i initially wrote this entry as a rant entry. but i've read past entries dito sa blog ko, and man, oozing with negativity. especially where work is concerned. i refuse to succumb to the negative feeling today. even when i have every right and reason to feel that way. imma smile. imma write about things that makes me feel good. i'm gonna ignore amo at ang kanyang sipsip na tuta. hahaha! =P
little things to be thankful for:
- natapos na ang bubong! sa buong tanang buhay ko, ngayon lang ako umakyat ng bubong ng bahay para magpintura. it was fun! =) di naman ako tinulak ni hubby je, so i think he still loves me. hahaha!
- hubby je bought me a bag of kitkat! after several trips sa walmart, finally, he gave in. binili nya ko ng bag ng kitkat, all for myself. ayaw nya kong ibili dati, dahil he knows i'd regret eating too much afterwards. hehehe! well, i'm trying to pace myself now. 3 bars lang in one seating. then i move to another spot on the couch and eat. =P
- friends settling down, passing exams, their sisters/brothers/nieces/nephews graduating from elementary/highschool/college. a lot of blessings coming our friends' way. definitely something to be thankful for.
- my parents and bro in good health. *knock on wood* despite the swine flu scare, my family is generally healthy. besides the usual ubo at sipon, i believe they are doing good. =)
- mommy letty coming to florida by august! yeah! nakausap ko si mommy and she is already telling me to get tuwalya, dugo ng baboy, lomo, at kung anu-ano pa. ipagluluto nya daw ako! hehehe! well, she'll cook them, i freeze them, we thaw and heat them pag kakainin na. hehehe! this is the life!
- sarah bagging the Box Office Queen award! oh yes, that's counted. hehehe! pati Female Concert Performer of the Year. she freakin' deserves it! and... hold your breath because she just might make it to the FHM 100 Sexiest Women of the World. she actually made it to the list last year, #45. sold out concerts sa US tour and provincial tour... plus an upcoming movie ulet! pero next year pa yon. still. a lot to be thankful for. hehehe!
- hubby je's company got approved for a mortgage, and they are purchasing a condo unit for their office. they are currently renting lang eh. since approved na sila, that means, their company will be owning a real estate property na. it's always a good thing to own property here. kasi kahit bagsak ang market ngayon, usually it appreciates back. kakatuwa! =)
- successful baked mac. dahil ata sa stressko kanina sa trabaho, napaluto ako ng baked mac sa bahay. hehe! success naman. i had to call mommy letty to ask about her recipe dun sa white topping. talap!
- being able to blog again. i really really hope the last of the biggest deadlines is over. the next software release we have schedule is August 17. and everything needs to get in by the 24th, this wednesday. after that, the next software release would be next year, which means at least a little breathing room. hopefully. hehehe!
- finishing this post with a light feeling. =)
