so the lion fell in love with the lamb
oh yes, you can tell from the title that this is another twilight post. skip if you hate the movie or the books. hehehe!
maybe hubby je is right, maybe i do have a disorder. when i am into something, i give 100% focus on that something and nothing else seems to matter. it works well for some things, but not on others. i know i take things to the extreme, i love too much, i hate too much. i seldom have the gray areas when it comes to my likes and dislikes. when i want something, i pour all my energy towards it. and so when i started reading the draft of Midnight Sun, which is the Twilight book in Edward's perspective, i simply couldn't take my eyes off it. i have the pdf file and it was very convenient that i have a laptop at home. i pored through the pages and didn't stop until around 1am kanina. hahaha! natapos ko in 2 reading sessions!
anyways, it's very fascinating. i feel like i was living in a parallel universe with Edward and Bella. shempre feeling. hahaha!
*** spoilers alert!!! ***
TWILIGHT: Edward kept the bottle cap of Bella's lemonade nung nag-usap sila sa cafeteria.
REAL LIFE: hubby je kept a Gatorade bottle cap as remembrance of the first time we sat together at a table. (i will have to confirm na yun nga yung event, but it has something to do with sitting in close proximity, hehe!)
TWILIGHT: Edward gets frustrated that Bella won't wait for him to open the car door for her, he wants to be a gentleman.
REAL LIFE: hubby je specifically HAD to train me to stop opening doors for both of us, especially pag kakain sa resto. je would always call out to me to stop walking pag nauuna ako sa pinto. minsan i still slip. hehe! i guess i've gotten so used to being independent and not being with a guy that i feel and i KNOW i can fend for myself. when i struggle with something, i make a way. recently, i learned to ask help from je to open bottle caps. he gladly obliges. =)
TWILIGHT: Edward thinks Bella is mentally deranged because of the way she's not afraid of the bigger and more important things, but worry about the smaller details.
REAL LIFE: well, enough said. je would've stopped at the phrase "mentally deranged", hehehe!
TWILIGHT: Edward loves to tease Bella, he enjoys seeing her reactions when angry or annoyed.
REAL LIFE: same with je. i swear he would go out of his way to annoy and irritate the hell out of me. he would set up his practical jokes once in a while, and there i'd be, an unsuspecting victim. he can be very creative too. i don't wanna give ideas, let's just say his previous odd jobs at the movie rental and grocery stores helped him hone his skills in setting up practical jokes.
anyways, it was just amusing to read about the bottle cap thing. i thought it was something so juvenile kasi eh. is Meyer also a hopeless romantic who happen to be very sentimental... and is a packrat? hehehe!
i would love to see the book materialize. it would be nice to see Edward's POV on things. i feel like one of these days, i would be reading Midnight Sun and have the Twilight book opened on the same exact scene, and be comparing notes. hahaha! Liza mentioned our friend Ree has already done it. gawd, i feel so normal in our little twilight world. hehehe!
i'm hooked into it, no doubt about it. hoooked into it that i've lost sense of responsibility sa forum ni sarah. i spent more hours reading than getting online sa forums or sa email. it doesn't help that i'm busy at work too. so whatever's left of my free time, which is not so much, pulls me to the twilight zone. or whatever the fans call it. i've never been this crazy about a book, or a movie, before. scary isn't it?
je and i are already planning on a New Moon movie date. can't wait to see it on big screen! ang tagal naman kasi marelease sa dvds eh. hehehe!

Talagang ni-compare mo si Edward + Bella senyo ni hubby ah! hehehe...sweet!
I will be watching New Moon with the girls...Rodel is not a fan! He keeps insisting Rob is gay...LOL. Kainis!
Same with me, when I came back from Manila, I started reading the last 2 books and finished them in a matter of two weeks.
Every night eto ang routine ko: dinner, shower and then I'll get my fave blanket and head upstairs to start reading. LOL...
At work, I usually spend my lunch time re-reading Midnight Sun. LOL...adik! Wawa naman si hubby, inde ko na napapansin. Buti n lng bz sya sa WII nya. LOL
I so love the world that Stephenie created. Ang saya-saya...

parang zero chance na yung midnight sun eh. well.. we can always hope..its so frustrating anu? Edward's thoughts are so much more interesting than Bella's kasi you get a glimpse din of what OTHER people are thinking..
