on facebook, work, stalling time, and running in place

for every post i make, i get another month of no-post. what's up with that? hehehe!

been swamped with work before and after the NY trip. i just wrapped up a project for our latest client, and i'm getting ready to start another one. the work never ends. the deadlines are always closer than i think. but it's a good sign in times like these. because that means i still have my job. so ok, instead of considering that a rant, take it as just a harmless, non-complaint update. =P

yes, i have utang pics from the NY trip. i'm getting them ready na. not that much, but still. hehe!

also, facebook got me hooked! i found myself one day just adding people on my friends list. hehe! well, i still have pending friend requests that i need to confirm. somehow, i want this account to be more personal. it was a not-so-good idea when i let some of my sg.com acquaintances into my friendster account. not that i am not friends with any of them, actually, half of them are really good friends of mine. but also, with that comes the freeloaders. those who add you as a friend, to check on your profile for any new sarah pics. hehehe! since that time when someone grabbed my photo with sarah in friendster, i stopped posting sarah pics altogether. not that they can't find a way to get to the pics, but at least to discourage them from befriending me for the wrong reasons. wow, tarush!

anyways. what's new nga ba? nothing much. work work and some more work. like i said, it's taking most of my time. can you imagine my happiness when i realized last week na walang pasok sa lunes? homaghad, what a breather. not that an extra day is a lot, but still, that's one entire day i don't have to wake up early! heheh!

i think i gained some weight. my pants won't fit again. hahaha! demmit. i knew i should've gotten the next bigger size. but it also serves as an inspiration to me to keep my weight and figure in check. in check daw o. =P

i will just keep blabbing away. i don't have anything interesting to say. i just miss typing my thoughts. maybe i need to be socially connected with people more. or maybe i need to stop thinking about things? maybe i'm just plainly losing it. i just like hearing the sound of my keyboard clicking. and the feel of my fingers hitting the keys.

maybe i am stalling time, because i somehow want to bask in the glory of wrapping up another project. stalling time because i know once i get started on the new project, i might not stop again. deadline is june 12. Philippine Independence Day. maybe on that day, i will feel free too. free from deadlines, as that's the last deadline i can see in the horizon. the last deadline, so far. knowing how the work shifts around in the department, i won't be surprised if next week, there's another deadline set for something, somewhere, for someone. maybe a deadline earlier than june 12. maybe later. i just know that deadlines are the cheeses that keep the rats running in that wheel.
