open house preps
bored.bored.bored.
although i am supposed to do some support troubleshooting for our offshore team, i can't feel the drive to lift a finger to do the project.
there's just so many things in my head right now, starting with the upcoming open house we're having on sunday. we have some major homekeeping to do on friday night and the entire saturday. i hope the weekend won't be one of hubby je's oc-oc days. sometimes he becomes so obsessed with cleaning something, that it takes him hours to clean it. but when i check it, it's the kind of "unnecessary" clean. i mean, i would expect something more from a 2-hour cleaning of our electric toothbrush/water jet, for example. but when i look at it, it is something that can be done in 30 minutes with a powerful cleaning solution. =P don't get me wrong, i appreciate hubby je's every effort to help me clean the house, but there are times when we are pressed for time, he would still go his normal routine as if we have all the time in the world. hehe! most of the time, it's cute, but there are times when it's not. especially when i am sort of stressing out about it already. =P peace tayo hon! *hugs*
i can almost feel my aching back on sunday morning. just to list some of the stuff we need to do:
- laundry, at tupi/plantsa na rin afterwards.
- dusting of the entire house! *now i have to dust even the "hidden" areas*
- vacuum (again, the entire house)
- mop the floor (yep, entire house)
- clean the 2 bathrooms, that means the tubs and the toilets, the walls and floors, plus the shower curtains.
- mow the lawn, trim the shrubs, pull weeds
- pressure wash the roof, walls, windows and the patio (both the front and the back yards)
- stage the house: meaning stack away personal stuff, unnecessary clutter, and/or move furnitures as needed to make the house look big.
geez, just writing about it makes me ache already.

not really patsy. open sya for everybody, pero kung walang dumating, ganon talaga ang life... hehehe! hopefully may magka-interest. the more people we could get to look at the house, the higher the chances of selling it. =)

thanks peeps! =)
oneal, you will like mowing the lawn because that would mean you have your own property. but after a year, you will start thinking about converting it into a driveway. hehehe!
