miss clean
we moved cubes last friday and it was a chaotic 3-hour activity for me. for a few, it was less. for most of the peeps though, it was more.
the person who used to occupy the cube that i'm moving in to, was on vacation last friday. so i had to move out her stuff to her new cube, before i could move in my stuff. i don't have much, but the other person has a lot. kuya fred helped me move, and was very kind to take the lifting work to himself. he also gave me a spray cleaner, to clean up my new cube. i should've known it's a premonition.
i started settling down on my new cube. lifted 3 CPUs and a couple of boxes containing my personal stuff to my desk, so i could vacuum the carpet. then i started cleaning the cpu casings, my keyboards (i have 2), mouse (mice? i also have 2 of them eh.), and printers. when it was time to clean the desk, i noticed a lot of stains. it took me 30 minutes to scrub most of them off. but there are still coffee marks left. oh well.
when i opened the drawers, my gulay! if it was a crime scene, i could've gotten the suspect. there were hair strands INSIDE the cabinet. more coffee stains (she actually puts coffee INSIDE the drawer?!?! whada?!), and some unidentified stains. it's like something spilled, never got wiped, attracted particles, then dried out. i resisted the urge to run to the nearest store and buy myself a pair of gloves. =P
after another 30 minutes, i've cleaned up the inside of the drawers. but on the surface, there were more coffee stains. and a lot of "kick marks". just as i was wiping them off with tissue wet with cleaning solution, somebody i know from QA saw me. he boomed, "what are you doing?! the cleanest person on the floor used to sit there!". i swear i stopped myself from laughing and snapping back "are you kidding me?! i would've thought a pig used to live here! if she were the cleanest, then what's on your drawer?!". *lol*
now, everytime we see each other, he would pretend to run his finger along any furniture within reach, as if to check for dust. i will just laugh at him, and say "i wanted to make it look new!"
i would never shatter the former occupant's reputation as the "cleanest person on the floor". it is a secret i will forever hold in peace.

nagmukha ka tuloy OC. haha hindi ako nagmamalinis pero sobra naman un. ewwww hahaha i know some people who keep their mugs in their drawers. maybe that's why there were coffee stains? open-close the drawers with coffee in it?

bespren, napipicture ko din si mama, naglalakad-lakad sa bahay tapos kaladkad nya yung basahan namin sa lapag. hehehe!
my new cube is smaller, is in depressing gray color (the old one was two-toned, black and gray)... pero mas tago sa mga bossing. hehehe!
