i lost my phone!!! =(
WAAAAAAH!
i lost my barely 2-months-old Motorola KRZR phone yesterday. =(
around 2:30pm, i went to the cafeteria to play pool. sumali kasi ako sa 9-ball pool tournament sa office. habang naglalaro kami, the phone was in my pocket. but everytime i lean forward to make a shot, i can feel my phone trying to slip out of my pocket, kasi i have a small pocket lang. so i put it on the table near the pool table.
we played 4 games.
after the match, i was chatting with the other players, and i don't remember anything else. now, i don't remember picking it up...
fast forward to 7:30pm. i'm ready to go home, and so i need to call hubby je to let him know i'm heading home. can't find my phone. not in my bag. not in my drawer. not in my pocket. not in sight! i panicked.
i tried calling it using my office phone, in the hope that i just forgot where i put it. but it directed me to my voicemail right away. oh no!
so i called up je and told him my phone is missing. he said he tried to call me earlier (around 6pm) but it's only ringing and "i" wasn't picking up. next time he called me, it's only my voicemail.
we checked the log of calls online, the last activity after i lost it was a voicemail retrieval at 7:45ish. whoever found my phone tried to see if there's any voicemail. he/she would've heard hubby je's earlier voicemail, prior to knowing the phone was lost.
so chine-check nya yung voicemail ko, pero naka-off yung mismong unit. i decided i'll leave a voicemail in case he/she checks it again. i'm giving the person the benefit of the doubt na baka in-off nya yung phone to conserve battery, and that he/she decided to just check voicemails to trace back the owner.
but since last night, wala pa rin activity sa online log. either the SIM card was taken out, or the battery was dead.
this morning, i reported it lost sa message boards namin. nobody reported a "FOUND phone", nobody turned it in to the receptionists either. so whoever found my phone decided to keep it for himself/herself.
hayyy.
i regret ever taking it with me at the cafeteria in the first place. i NEVER bring my phone ANYWHERE when i'm at the office, laging nasa bag or sa drawer ko lang. kung bakit ba dinala ko pa eh. at bakit ko nilapag. ungh!
some stuff to cheer me up....

- i have a copy of most of my contacts in a different SIM. all contacts i added after April 6 are lost. that may be around 6-8 people, not sure, but definitely less than a dozen.
- we got that phone for free, but on a 2-year contract. if i actually paid for it, i would be crying by now.
- i didn't put our new 1GB microSD in there yet. i was thinking about using that memory chip last weekend, when i saw it on my digicam carrying case. but i was too lazy so i didn't put it in yet.
- i still have my old phone, so all i really need is a new SIM card for the same phone number, and i should be good to go again.

oh no ... shucks! sana naman i-return sa iyo ung phone mo ... Ako, nakaiwan ng phone before. Tapos tinawagan nung nakahanap ng phone ko yung bahay namin so naretrieve ko siya. Sana nawalan lang ng battery tapos walang charger yung nakahanap. Sana maibalik sa iyo yung phone mo!

erlyn: probably my 3rd lost phone now? dunno, maybe 4th? damn!
ria: no iPhone for me no! mahal! hehehe!
furness: exactly! the prob is, which unit?
guys, any suggestion on what unit i should get? maybe i should just grab the freebie phones from my carrier.
but i'm looking at Sony Ericsson, K880i. bro mentioned it to me, pero mahal! =P stainless case though, sweeeet! ;-)

I was just about to suggest that ... cool no? I like Sony Ericsson phones =) pangga and I both have the k800, my previous phone was the k600i, which looks like the k880i (mas slick lang yung 880i) which I think is not available here in the US and the one before that was the Z200 =)

oneal! don't start! you know how much i value the advice of my techie fwends! (except for the iPhone though, sorry bespren! hehe!)
i haven't tried using SE, sabi ni hubby je, medyo mahina ang ring at call volume (he had the T610 dati). can you give a detailed review oneal? janey? tengks! *hugs*
i like K880i because of the case. i love metal casing, i had the jurassic Nokia8850 dati, metal case din. really sturdy. that KRZR i lost looks like metal din, pero more on mirror finish lang. oh well.
IF (an all-caps "i" and "f") i get into spending mode, i just might get that. pero ang mahal pa eh. magmumura kaya yon ever? =P

haha .. oo nga no? W pala sya nde K .. nasanay kse ako sa K din eh =) ... available na ba sya dito sa US? I was checking the sonyericsson site and wala pa sya sa list of available phones .. pero ok yung w/k series ... unless mas gusto mo yung parang pda style na phone, mas ok yung p series ... I also checked yung Motorolla before, I wanted the Krzr kso compared sa functionality, mas ok yung sony ericsson eh, mas stylish lang yung rzr series =)
