zzzzzzzzzzzz..........antok, antok, antok...

i've had only 4-5-hours daily sleep in the past 3 days... ginagawa ko kasi yung photo montage/slideshow for papa's bday party. since the party is a surprise one, my mama couldn't send the pics to me sooner, kasi laging nakabuntot si papa sa kanya. hehehe!

i finally got all the pics on sunday night. i started working on it right away, cropping, resizing, putting effects and blending colors. i scolded mama for cutting off edges of the pics to make them fit in a single page of the photo album. =P alam nyo yun, yung ginugupit yung background, minsan naka-trace pa around the person's head, or kung ano man ang posing nung tao. it doesn't help na nung ini-scan nila yung album, as in 1 file lang per one whole page. hindi man lang isang file = isang picture. as in sama-sama na sila! mapupunit na kasi yung pics pag inalis pa nila sa album (oh yes, they used to make it with high-quality adhesives)... so i had to crop impossible shapes just to take out one "pic" from the file. =P

by monday night, i was plowing away on photostory, making sure the picture transitions are in sync with the background music. before that, i faced the hard work of choosing which pictures stay and which ones go. buti na lang, sila mama na ang pumili ng music, mahirap din kasi yon considering papa's inclination to music. parang kahit ano, gusto nya. hehehe!

by tuesday night, i was putting it all together and adding the finishing touches.... using the ever "buggy" windows movie maker. i opted to use it so i could squeeze in vid clips among the photos. i worked on it in the office, since i have a faster pc, and a faster internet connection. i stayed until around midnight ata? pero i made the right decision... kasi kung yung laptop ko lang ang gamit ko, at yung internet connection sa bahay, baka mapatagal pa ko ng 2-3 more hours.

when i got home, nag-video pa kami ni je ng message namin for papa. solo vids each, then yung magkasama na kami. shempre, dahil mukha na kong panda, nagpulbos naman ako ng onti, suklay-suklay ng hair, at onting lipistik. =D mukha akong tao dun sa video! *lol* when it was time for hubby je's "shooting" humiga muna ako sa kuwarto to rest a bit. after that, time for our shot together na! i forgot to make suklay-suklay, kaya ayun, mukha akong bruha sa sumunod na clip. hehehe! eh ayaw na namin ulitin kasi mas ok pag spontaneous.

anyways, umabot naman yung montage at mga vids for the party itself. with just 6 or 7 hours to go before the actual party, i called up mama and told her they should start downloading the file kasi malaki inabot, around 80MB. eh kailangan ma-test pa nila yon kung gagana dun sa laptop ni bro. ok naman daw lahat. that was 4am Florida time... ok, time to go to bed. =D

this might sound like a rant post, pero it's not! hehehe! i was just surprised at how far my family's needs can push me to go on, kahit pagod na. the past 2 days, ang sungit ko na kay hubby je. kasi naman walang tulog. pagod din. busy rin ako sa office eh, working on 2 tickets at the same time. good thing may mga downtime naman ako sa office, although not long enough para makapag-work ako dun sa montage.

this morning, nawala lahat ng pagod ko when mama called me... sobrang suprised daw si papa sa party nya! hehehe! daming kuwento! and when i get to talk to papa, alam kong he had a grand time. =) nag-thank you nga sa akin at kay je eh, ang saya nya daw, natuwa sya sa lahat.... sa surprise party, sa mga um-attend, sa mga pinrepare namin for him. (my bro and cousins did a dance number ata, pati si kuya fhill at dorein, hehehe!)

his laughter ringing on the other end of the line is enough to make me realize it was all worth it. =)
