anxiety attack while waiting for my creative juice
after several days of reading reviews, comparing features, comparing prices, and scouting for user opinions on phones, i suddenly found myself bored to death with nothing to do. everytime i do electronic purchases, i make it a point that i stop looking around once i've placed my order, so i won't have any buyer's remorse. hehehe! i guess i came to like the hunt for the gadget. i tried reading reviews on asia.cnet.com, it just won't register anymore. my mind flies to the day when i will lay my eyes, and hands, on that sweet little phone i bought for myself. please, let the package be delivered on time. and please, don't let my uncle forget to bring it. hehehe!
ok, so now i finally get to do some real work in the office. not.
i have a personal assignment of editing 5 dance video clips into one MTV-ish kickass video. now, if only i can find the installation cd of the video editor. hehehe! i've scouted on the internet for free softwares, but i'm not sure if they will deliver. hopefully they will. if you guys know of any software i can use, please shoot me an email. thanks! ;-)
anyways, so now i am into video editing again. i miss those times in high school and college when i'd stay late (with some classmates/friends/teammates) at the video editing shop and work with "Sir Henry" to come up with the coolest video clips. i've been a regular at his shop, that sometimes, he would let me pound away on the board myself. those editing hardware stuff are expensive, but he trusted me since i've seen him do it sooo many times and i know how it works. hehehe! too bad, my major in college didn't call for video presentations and all that jazz. =P
i do remember the coolest works we've done so far...
oh well, i'm just excited to get started on my new project. it sucks that i have limited editing tools and resources. but this is the challenge, to come up with something cool, using what's available.
let the creative juice flowwww.... *state of trance*

- the high school project that involved almost half of the class in one group. our shooting days were a blast, what do you expect from 15-16-year-old giggly girls? hehe!
- PreCom English/Lit class wherein we reported our coverage of the Andrew Cunanan case, where we went to his relatives' houses in Bulacan, complete with hidden cams and all that. it was the closest thing i've come to becoming a field reporter. hehe!
- the promo video for the FACTIO event. this is the one i enjoyed doing the most, the concept of a club party ala fashion show event. liz, hyden and i did the concept brainstorming, and we carried it out until the editing. needless to say, the promo video blew (majority of) the JCBA folks off their feet! the turnover at the party (at the then-Formula One Sports Cafe) was overwhelming, and it was one of the most successful club parties ever organized by JCBA. i wonder where that video is right now. they showed it at a General Meeting for BA majors, and so i wasn't there. but i remember seeing liz and hyden grinning from ear-to-ear, as their senior officers congratulated them for a job well done. calling on liz and hyden! =)

I'd love to see the finished product! I don't know anything about video editing. You better put the video up! Or else ... I'll hunt you down! =P
