anniv?

at this exact time of the day, one year ago, i was shocked to find our front door ajar. i looked around and didn't find anything weird at first, so i simply called hubby je to ask if he forgot to lock the door. when he picked up, and denied forgetting, all the pieces of evidence suddenly became obvious... we were burglarized.

one year anniv na ng aking katapangan at katangahan rolled in one. katapangan dahil even after realizing na pinasok kami, i still looked into the rooms to see if there's still somebody inside the house. katangahan, for the exact same reason. =P

kanina, bago ako pumasok ng bahay, i felt a surge of paranoia. what if, maulit yung last year? what if, as if to mock us, the same burglar or his cohorts would break into the house again and wreck havoc this time? my head was swirling, and the cold, strong winds were not helping at all.

as soon as i turned the key, naisip ko agad, "chet, isang taon na nung mangyari yung burglary, pero andito pa rin kami sa same house na to!".

this is the first and the last anniv we're spending on this house. i will not let 2008 pass without moving to a new place. lugihan na lang, basta matahimik lang kami.

at kung nasaan man yung burglar last year, i hope you found good use of the wiis you took. i would like to think na pinambili mo ng gamot ang perang pinagbentahan, or pinangkain nyo dahil matagal na kayong di kumakain ng family mo. pero kung talagang nanloob ka lang for the sake of money alone, matakot ka na lang sa karma.
