santa claus is coming to town, as well as the turkey

ang lamig na sa umaga. malamig na rin sa gabi. we took out our comforter na, kasi di na kaya ng simpleng kumot lang ang lamig pag natutulog. and that's even with the airconditioner off. ang cold water sa faucet, nakakangilo na rin pag ginagamit pang-toothbrush. last weekend, our central heater kicked in kasi masyado nang mababa yung temperature sa bahay, compared sa naka-set naming temp.

meant 2 things... Thanksgiving is near, Christmas is tailing right behind.

excited na ko sa Thanksgiving, not because of the food or the festivities, but because of the sale the day after! Black Friday sale, the best day of the year especially for sorta-techie people who want to get good deals on electronics. this year, i am a woman on a mission... a 500GB external hard drive. i need it. i want it. i gotta have it. i am resolved to getting one on the condition na $100 max lang sya. hmmm, siguro kung $101, mapapaisip pa ko for around 10 seconds. hehehe!

i can't think of anything else to buy right now. not that i am looking for something to spend money on. i just like the hunt. except for that hard drive, i really gotta have it. i will raise the dead if they won't put at least one brand of 500GB HD on sale. =P OA.

on the other hand, shopping for Christmas somehow stresses me out. for the past 2 years, hubby je has been doing the shopping for our gifts to people. he's a better deal hunter than i am, needless to say. he might still be "it" this year. if only i am in Pinas, i would've taken it upon myself to hunt for little trinkets to give out. greenhills, tutuban, divisoria, eSeMs all over the place. a little something for everybody.

and i still don't know what i'm gonna give him. he's got a history of spoiling my surprises for him, so i'm not sure if i should tell him to stop buying stuff he likes, because i might buy it as a gift. hehe! oh well, i still have close to 2 months to procrastinate. =D
