sg in motion

this is becoming a vice... going to out-of-town concerts. but what the heck! it's sarah's! =D

sarah is having another US tour, this time of her upcoming major concert in the PH, "sarah geronimo in motion". check out this site for the teaser: www.sarahgeronimoinmotion.com
the PH concert is scheduled for july, probably another araneta event. i don't think a smaller venue will do, since she was able to fill up araneta to a SRO in her first concert. and that was even before the Bituing Walang Ningning fame. i would conservatively estimate she earned at least a thousand more loyal fans after that teleserye. myself excluded from the count. =P

the US tour is scheduled to run this august, until september probably. there were several key cities, at the top of my head... San Jose & San Diego (CA), Las Vegas (NV), Manhattan (NY), Washington DC, Dayton (OH).

and shempre, pupunta ako!!!! sa ibang lugar naman. Dayton, Ohio is one of the key cities where she will be performing with Mark Bautista (the poor guy whom my tita charry harrased the last time at the NJ concert), and John Pratts (one of the better dancers among our young artists today). i have a friend from Ohio who takes care of selling tickets, i already have her reserve tickets for me! hehehe! excited na ko!

based on what i've seen so far in sarah's career (and believe me, i've seen quite a lot, spending HOURS on the web searching for vids, pics, articles about her, both current and past ones), this is her step to "maturedom". the pics on that concert site doesn't convey "tweetums". not at all. some fans may find it hard to accept, but her handlers are showing her vixen-side now. of course, still the sweet image, but with a kick. =)

there were talks about what sarah might showcase in this new concert. "in motion". meaning, movements. dance moves perhaps? i think it is very timely with what she's been seen doing on ASAP and several tv guestings... song and dance numbers. she has improved a lot in that area, no more gasping for air, no more uncomfy look when grooving on stage, no more shaky voice when she's "in motion". she can be a pretty spirited dancer, when she's wearing the right type of shoes. hehehe! screw those people who made her wear 4-inch heels when she'll be dancing hip-hop/streetjazz moves. =P i've seen her in hataw-mode, and she's good! and she's wearing rubber shoes. so yeah, take that as a hint, mister-or-miss-wardrobe-consultant. how would you like to dance to a 2-beat song in 4-inch heels? unless you are looking for a sprained ankle, it's hard to let loose.

her handlers might be using those tv guestings as some sort of dry-runs for her. with John Pratts on the concert entou, i'm sure it's inevitable to see at least a couple of dance numbers. and being a dance enthusiast, i can't let this pass!

uh-oh, here i go again. =D my friends have probably accepted the fact that i'm way beyond getting cure for this addiction. oh well, when i get to Ohio, i know i'm not alone. so it's gonna be like a Saraholic Anonymous meeting. heehee!
