i didn't realize that i have a serious case of admiration for Sarah Geronimo, until i found myself clicking away on youtube, in search for videos of her. one time, i stayed up until 1am watching her videos... performing, guesting, whatever. pati Maalaala Mo Kaya, pinatos ko na. =P i find myself smiling when i watch her laugh or smile or do something child-like. when i come across something that i really like, i watch it twice. or rewind it a bit. dang!

wala ako kahit isang album nya, and now, i am seriously considering buying each one of those albums she released, audio and video. i know it's serious when i start considering that. the last time something this intense happened to me was with Freestyle. I had all their albums, studio-recorded, recorded live from their concerts, videos... and dig this, even when i have the pirated version which works perfectly, i still buy the orig one. right now, i plan on buying only orig ones. i read in an article that Sarah must have lost around 2.2M from her first album royalties because of piracy. whew! i told you i'm hooked ... i've searched inq7 for articles about her. and i spent 5 days' worth of lunch hours reading. too bad i can't watch videos in the office. =P

je calls me "adik" whenever he sees me glued to the monitor. and just like a real addict, i can't seem to stop. one link leads to another, and another, and another. this young lady is finding a soft spot in my heart. it's only sad there's a slimmer chance of bumping into her, since i'm on the other side of the globe. =(

i found out that she's nominated as Hitmaker of the Year for Yes! magazine. i registered. i voted. when it was the presidential elections, my parents had to convince me to go out and vote. if Sarah was running for public office, i would've felt so patriotic. hehehe!

is this homesickness? is it my yearning for a little sister? or is she just that good to be idolized? there's something about her that's so easy to like and love, she has a natural charm, and with such great talents, ikanga, "san ka pa?" she's pretty in her own style, parang hindi nakakasawang tignan. there are different kinds of pretty, and i think, hers is the type na pretty pag hindi maputi. or maybe it's her smile. or her aura of innocence. i really dunno.
