it was my first ever Thanksgiving sale experience, and whew! akala ko bibigay ako sa pagod! =P
thursday night pa lang, tumitingin na kami sa catalogs. si je, hindi na natulog to research on some items that he wants to buy eh. around midnight, nahiga na muna ako to "charge up". woke up around 3:30am, quick breakfast, then sibat na kami papunta sa stores! wala nang ligo-ligo!! around 4:50am, nakapila na kami sa labas ng Circuit City. grabe, ang haba ng pila! umikot na sa likod ng store yung pila, papasok pa lang yon ha!
as soon as the doors opened, dagsa na yung mga tao. nagsplit na kami ni je, i went to the TV section, sya naman yung sa ibang items. in less than 5 minutes, may 42" plasma tv na kami! after paying at the register, hinanap ko na si je. pumila na ko sa cashier (which took like half an hour) to pay for the other items, while he proceeded to the pick-up area to get the TV. kaya lang di nagkasya sa kotse yung tv, kaya we have to go back with a bigger car/truck. hindi pala pwedeng ihiga or i-tilt yung plasma tv kasi magbi-bleed daw.
after Circuit City, diretso kami sa Best Buy. andami rin tao! so instead of wasting time dun sa pila sa labas, pumunta muna kami ng RadioShack, Target then Office Depot. We stopped by Walgreens, Staples, Kane's, CompUSA and Best Buy. wala na halos kaming inabutan sa last few stores na pinuntahan namin, which is expected, kasi syempre sa dami ng tao nung umaga, malamang naubos na yung mga good deals.
Hindi pa don natapos yung Thanksgiving shopping namin. saturday afternoon, pumunta pa kami sa Kmart, Lowe's, Home Depot at sa Bed, Bath and Beyond. Sumaglit ulet kami sa Circuit City at sa Office Depot.
natunaw ata yung credit card ni je sa dami ng binili namin. kakain pa kaya kami in the next few days? hehehe! so far, the "damage" reported are as follows: 42" flat screen plasma tv, swivel recliner, dvd writer, cordless phone, bluetooth headset, rechargable spotlight, crosscut shredder, surge protector, USB adapters, battery back-ups for the pc, airbed, swiss knife, power adapter, beer dispenser, a dozen boxes of 100-bulb christmas lights, 100 DVD recordable discs, and 2 bottles of peanuts. those are from the discount sales alone, may iba pang binili na kailangan lang talaga sa bahay pero hindi discounted.
sa dami at sa tagal ng pagpipila namin sa mga cashiers in the last 2 days, i think we covered a year's worth of waiting in line for groceries. =P

weeiiii, plasma TV!!! Naku pag sinabi ko kay rodel na nakabili na kyo maiinggit un ;-) Ang tinitignan ni rodel eh un Sony Grand Wega na 42"...
Gurl, dapat bumili na rin kyo ng home theater system para kumpleto na!

janey (and reeyuh), hoy oneal! hindi para sa amin yon no! pangregalo yon sa stepdad ni je. reformed na ko, di na ko umiinom ng beer.. wine at champagne na lang. wehe! chochal! =P
binut, nakow, mura lang yon, may rebate pa kasi eh. ayoko muna i-compute, pag bumalik na yung rebate, sabihin ko sayo. hehehe!
liza gurl, sarap magshopping pag discounted! =) may home theater system na si je eh, pero di pa nya ini-install ever. regalo ata sa kanya 1-2 years ago ng mga bros nya. we need the "table" or the "entertainment center" ngayon. sows, kemamahal!
