mister kong fake, ninja in manila, atbp.

i picked up alfredo from the airport last night. on the way home, we talked about his trip. well, he did the most un-alfredo thing on his flight back home... =P

there were only 30 passengers on the flight from Atlanta (Georgia) to Tampa (Florida). when the airport folks called out the first-class passengers to board the plane, only a few people stood up. seeing there were only a few, aba, sumama itong mister ko sa mga first-class passengers, when in fact, iba ang nakalagay sa boarding pass nya! ang lakas talaga ng loob! hehehe! habang di pa daw napupuno yung plane, nakaupo lang sya dun at hawak yung baggage nya, para in case na late lang pala yung totoong first-class passenger na nakaupo dun sa seat na kinuha nya, madaling magpalusot na nagkamali sya ng tingin sa boarding pass and that he was just about to leave. mweheheh! =P after a while, walang dumating, so he took the seat for himself!

he played along nga daw eh, kasi baka pag tumanggi sya ng tumanggi sa mga ino-offer na in-flight food at drinks, mahalatang di talaga sya flying first-class. hehehe! he ends up asking for rum for his soda. ayun, napainom tuloy sya ng di-oras! hehehe!

grabe, ang lakas ng loob nitong mister ko! at ang kapal ng mukha! hahaha! he reminded me of "Catch Me If You Can", where Leonardo DiCaprio played a role of fake pilot, doc and lawyer. i know Je really sounds convincing most of the time, but to go this far, my hubby's got the talent! hehehe! =P

there's this american movie filmed in the Philippines that was shown on cable a few weeks back. we recorded it on DVR, for lack of time to catch it live. kanina lang namin napanood.

grabe, as in lumang Manila pa yung setting! i think it was the 80's, tapos may mga ilang Filipino artists don, like Subas Herrero, Joonee Gamboa, Leo Martinez, Bomber Moran (who wasn't credited), a few more familiar faces. i looked it up sa www.imdb.com, and this is what i found: Enter The Ninja.

nakakatuwa, may filmography din yung mga Pinoy actors when you play around the site. akala ko dati, mga american or english movies lang meron sa imdb, andami pala nilang covered! yung iba may user comments pa, most probably from pinoys abroad.

anyways, "Enter the Ninja" really sucked. you would think it's comedy instead of an action flick. i'd rather look around imdb than watch it full length again. =P
