am still ahhhhhlive
i could come up with interesting excuses why i haven't updated my blog for a while now, but i don't wanna lie.
i'm too lazy, and i've been busy. ok, the second one is a (semi)lie. =P
work, it's been pretty crazy for the past 3 (or 4?) weeks now. we survived a re-org. 3 of our "senior" senior developers were transferred to another team, and we gained "team newbies" in place. besides picking up the work dropped by the seniors, we had to sort of "train" the new ones too. on top of that, we are in the middle of a huge project release, when the requirements changed. all development and testing were done already, but with the requirements change, gotta redo all of them. so technically, it's like starting again, only this time, you already know what's gonna work and which won't. but sometimes, tweaking codes is harder than rewriting everything from scratch.
outside work naman...
- went to the beach at Fort DeSoto.
- had an impromptu drive to my aunt's property down at Fort Myers, a 2+ hours interstate drive.
- got our WiiFit, Dance Dance Revo All-Party, and Guitar Hero III games for wii!
- attended a bridal shower.
- joined a pool tournament.
- and the best one, went out on dates with hubby je.
was supposed to meet a former officemate, Julie, in Lakeland or Orlando, but our sched didn't meet. oh well, i might visit her in NJ when we go to NY, hopefully by September. =)
i'm expecting one of my friends from SPI to pay me a visit. Rico is in Texas (Houston, i think?) for work. our network guy at SPI is here in the US too, and already gave me word that he might visit sometime later this year. also, one of my sg.com friends might drive down to FL. i can't wait to go out with friends again.
speaking of friends, this is long overdue, but i just wanna share them just the same....
