Ramiele on American Idol
pinoys represent! another pinay made it to the top 12 of AI. this season, it's a 20-year old young lady from Miramar, Florida! she tiny, with anime-ish hairdo, and a powerful voice that she's restraining (in my opinion). while jasmine trias is very sweet and charming with a nice voice, ramiele is sweet and charming with a niceR voice. she just needs to be brave with the arrangements, or try to let her vocals soar, or choose the right songs, or simply not pose in pictures grabbing someone else's, and having others grab her, hooters. *lol* although she hasn't won yet, i can feel it in my gut na she will become a celeb back home na, if she'll decide to pursue a career in showbiz. in the meantime, pinoys in US, please vote for her.
Survivor Fans vs Favorites
a very interesting turn of events on this season's Survivor. ozzy found the hidden immunity idol, and replaced it with a piece of wood. his potential arch-rival in the game found it, and would probably use it one time. in the future episodes, just like what happened in Survivor China when Jamie found the "idol" and tried to play it, it would be hilarious to see the faces of those who knew it's not the real idol. hehe!
but our stupid dvr didn't record the episodes, so we gotta watch it on the net. oh well, anything for ozzy, amanda, parvati and james. hehehe! i just love those 4, hope sila ang last 4 this season! all equally competitive, all equally charming, all beautiful people. ;-)
Busy Work
now this is not reality tv, but simply reality. hehehe!
work took up a big chunk of my time in the past 3-4 weeks. or was it even longer, i can't remember. ang alam ko lang, we met our deadline last wednesday, only to have a new one the day after. hehehe! it's an endless rat race. sometimes i begin to wonder, when i was younger, did i use to say, "when i grow up, i want to beat deadlines"... coz that's what i've been doing lately. =P
but i shouldn't be complaining. being busy means there's something to do at work. it's job security. and that means business is doing good. maybe i'm just ranting because one day, the work tickets i'm working on are not critical, then i come in the next morning and it's a highly critical one. the next day hindi na ulet, and then after a couple of days, critical ulet AT urgent pa, urgent as in, get-this-done-by-COB kind of urgent.
hubby je told me i should try to be more resilient . i know i am resilient, but it was just a little hellish having to deal with change and pressing deadlines at the same time.
but hey, i made it through! there's another deadline coming up, but i am more prepared now. my strategy? don't get too involved. just do what's asked, don't invest emotionally in what you do. i'll try not to love my job until i get adjusted.

harbs! I totally agree with you about Ramielle. She just wowed the judges on her first performance. I think the succeeding songs that she chose are not that good since it doesn't really highlight her voice's power.
As for work, well said! hahaha.. Lam mo naman that I have been stressed at work din. Hirap lang talga minsan to take out emotions especially if it is consuming your weekends and little time with family. ;)
