vegas babeh!

ang aming Las Vegas trip, surreal. yun lang ang best word to describe it. =P

eto ang aming series of unfortunate (and fortunate?) events:

• both hubby je and i got home late nung friday because of work. packed stuff until 2am, slept until 4am. by 6am, nasa airport na kami. 6:45am ang flight.

• pagdating sa airport, ang hirap humanap ng spot sa long term parking! ambagal ng elevator, and yung pinakamalayo pa ang bumukas as if gustong magpa-miss sa amin. =P then naiwan kami ng tram from the parking to the terminals. the next tram that stopped, pang-testing lang, so hindi pwedeng sumakay. sa 3rd tram pa kami nakasakay ni mister.

• pagdating sa check in counter, nasaraduhan na kami! demmit! they implemented a policy na 45 mins prior to departure, sarado na ang check-in for that flight. it used to be that they close the counters when they start boarding na.

• so we were rescheduled for the next confirmed flight 4 hours later. sa connecting flight namin from Houston to Vegas, delayed ang plane. so another 30 minutes of waiting.

• we arrived in Vegas at around 4:30pm. 5:30pm ang wedding. ang tagal ng luggage (had to check it in because of liquids more than 3oz), ang tagal ng shuttle, at ang traffic sa Las Vegas strip!

• we already knew we're gonna miss the wedding, pero sige pa rin kami. hubby je left our luggages at the bell desk of the Stratosphere hotel, then gumala na kami to look for the chapel.

• at the elevator, may nag-congratulate sa amin! hahaha! akala ata ikakasal kami. uhmmm, we were both in tshirts, jeans and rubber shoes. dahil nga sa sobrang late, di na kami nagbihis ni mister.

• pagdating sa wedding chapels, nagbukas-bukas kami ng pinto to look for them. kung nagkataong may kinakasal sa mga binuksan naming chapels, nakakahiya! =P

well, we really missed the wedding by a good 30 mins ata. hayyyy. so diretso kami sa reception to meet the newlyweds and the family. it was great meeting them, mababait and very accommodating. =)

what happened after that disasssterrrr a la Amazing Race running after the wedding, medyo relaxed na ang atmosphere. but definitely, we were disappointed. yun na nga lang yung talagang pinunta namin don eh, namiss pa namin. =(

eto naman ang mga nagala namin:

• MGM hotel (ganda ng lobby)
• Bellagio's facade, with the ever-famous fountain show. (2 songs napanood namin, hehe!)
• M&M World (uhmm, so-so lang. not so impressed)
• Ghirardhelli shop (sarap ng hot choco!)
• Fremont (by accident namin napuntahan, dahil nagkamali kami ng sakay ng The Deuce, yung bus nila)
• Imperial Palace hotel (daming Asians)
• the Las Vegas strip (walkathon kahit malamig at umaambon)
• unnamed bar near the Ghirardhelli shop (girls shaking their booties for free beer! woot!)

all in all, i would rate the Las Vegas trip a 3-star (out of 5) vacation. if you're below 21, fuhghedaboudid. if you are into gambling, this may be your paradise or hell, depende kung mananalo ka. hehe! would've been nice kung nanood kami ng shows don, like Cirque de Soleil, pero kulang sa time eh. shempre bonding time with NFFs din. hehe!

btw, daming pinoys don: cashier sa buffet, receptionist, casher sa casino, barista sa Starbucks, ticket attendant sa rides, may nakasabay pa kaming naghihintay ng bus. kung anu-ano pa naman yung pinaguusapan namin, tapos biglang nagTagalog samen! hehehe!

well, i guess what happens in Vegas, gets written on my blog. *lol* =P

sa pagtawid. hehehe! traffic was horrendous!

THE Bellagio. where we watched the fountain. we were too lazy to walk around the fountain to go to the hotel lobby, so dun na lang kami. heheh!

Fremont in Downtown. grabe, parang umaga sa dami ng lights!
