manila, manila, i keep coming back to manila

nakapag-paalam na ko! woo-hooo! got 13 days vacation leave! ayus!

i didn't get the chance na magpa-alam nung saturday while watching the truck show, kasi habol nang habol sa anak nya yung bossing ko. hehehe! cutie ng anak nya! tsaka bibong-bibo! (or biba, kasi girl? whichever!) isa pa, sabi saken ng team lead ko, sa tech lead na lang daw magpa-alam, so hintay pa talaga ako ng monday. wish ko noon, di ko makalimutan. lagi ko kasing nakakalimutan pag nagsimula na ang trabaho eh.

anyways, come monday, nakasalubong ko yung tech lead ko, so i remembered! eto yung email ko... condensed version. hehe! i mentioned it to my team lead first, then sent a formal email to my TechLead, who then forwarded it to Big Boss, yung hiring manager ko na director na ngayon. i was really careful not to sound like i was running away from work, kasi iilan lang kami sa team, tapos high priority pa yung projects na kasama ako. buti na lang natapos ko na yung ginagawa ko! isang bug na lang, makakatulog na ko ng mahimbing. hehehe!

Good thing I saw you a while ago. I just remembered I was gonna ask you if I could take several days off. =)

My brother is graduating from college this coming April 1, and I'm planning on taking a 13-day leave starting March 30 until April 18 (April 6 is a holiday), and fly back to the Philippines.

I already asked Team Lead if it will have any conflicts with our schedule for ProjectB, and it seems like I'm ok to go. I haven't heard any big news from ProjectA, so I'm assuming there won't be any conflicts there too. Just wanna know if you're ok with it too? =)

Tech Lead: Should be ok - Big Boss, any objections ? Do you have vacation built up for 13 days (I'm guessing you do) ?

Big Boss: No objections here, but I think you should either bring or send back some of those eggs you were talking about :-)

and he was refering to balut. we talked about pinoy exotic foods one time we're having a late night (free) dinner at the office. they were surprised when i told them i've eaten my first balut when i was a little kid. with bulging eyes and dropped jaws, they were like "are you serious?" hehehe!

anyways, i'm sooo happy! nagpapahanap na kami ng tickets ngayon! sana mura lang! =D
