take 2... pls don't take the 2

we're just one stubborn couple.

hubby je called me up this morning, mentioned that Toys 'R Us is carrying 6 nintendo wiis today. to buy or not to buy? sabi ko, go! PERO! wag kang uuwi ng bahay! or kung uuwi ka man, for goodness' sake, don't leave the wiis at home again! so off he went, bought just 2 this time, left it on his car, took a bath and headed out for work. so far, so good. now, the big question is, paguwi ko kaya mamaya, burglarized na naman kaya kami, at the thought na baka iniwan ulet ni mister yung wii sa bahay? hehehe!

call me paranoid, pero yun talaga naisip ko. oh well, if it will happen, it will happen. after all, we found out something that made us believe the burglary wasn't because of the wiis. they (or he, or she) really wanted cash, but not finding any at home, opted for the wiis. the boxes were still sealed, so it's good as cash. anyways, we found out na nawawala din yung coin sorter namin, which contains around $17. pati yon pinatulan! pero iniwan ang jewelries, laptops, digicam. so gusto talaga nung burglar, liquid assets na hindi traceable. we have pesos at home, if you want, mister burglar! =P

other updates:

• been feeling miserable with fever, cold and cough for the last 4 days. it must be flu, pero di ko naman nahahawa si je, so baka talagang down lang yung system ko. i think i'm getting better, pero i won't push it, i still need lots of rest.
• rest, which i can't get because i've been working in the office till late for the past 3 days. we have a deadline coming up on friday. our target is to get everything to compile today (wednesday), run tests until friday. and do a complete build on the weekend or on monday morning.
• may sakit din yung mga teammates ko! ano buzzz! singhutan kami ng singhutan while discussing work yesterday. yung isang teammate ko, absent nung lunes at ngayon. he had a relapse ata kasi pumasok kahapon!
• my one and only "batchmate" here in the office got married! punta sya kanina dito sa cube ko, held up his hand to my face. di ko pa alam anong gusto nyang sabihin. i asked, "what?", with a puzzled look on my face. and he said, "i got married!!" i'm so happy for him! and eto pa, buntis na si misis! he'd probably be working harder na, para di sya ma-kickout. hehehe!
• i miss home. lalo na nung kausap ko si mama, and i was telling her how sick i am. she started diagnosing me. headaches? chest pains? fever? clogged nose? watery eyes? i suddenly felt like crying. pero shempre di ako umiyak. i just miss having my family take care of me when i'm sick. hubby je is doing a great job taking care of me. but somehow, there is wisdom in their (our parents) years that make me feel more secure pag sila ang nag-aalaga saken. =)
