I love my life. Take a glimpse and see why...

hopefully a 24+/7

so many things are happening so fast. these are the days when i wished there are 25 hours a day. =) 30 would be sweet.

as much as i want to keep my friends updated, i couldn't. several minutes a day while having lunch at the office is just about all the time i have to keep in touch with friends in cyber world. this post is in no way a reklamo of some sort, it's actually even a "thanksgiving", that many things are happening in my life lately.

my family's here, getting acquainted with my living environment, taking care of my chores (without a doubt the best part! hehehe!) and seeing places and doing shopping. =) i'm having a grand time, i hope they are too. je has been very understanding, patient and being the super-hubby that any married woman could ever ask their fairy godmothers for. =) we've been to several places already, but that would be another blog entry. hehehe!

at work, we started moving the chains towards getting the new project delivered by end of May. i've already met my first deadline last april 26, and i have another one coming up on may 5. along with working on the new project, i'm taking informal trainings on becoming a configuration management resource person. this coming may 3, i'll be baptized by fire as a config manager, because the incumbent is taking a medical leave starting that day, until who knows when he'll recover from a surgery. go figure. =P i'm gonna need all the time management skills i've developed in the past approximately 4 years that i've worked. =)

oh well, time's up! i've been itching to post entries but i couldn't seem to find the time. it's no excuse, but hey, who needs one? this is my blog. hehehe!

PS. thanks to those who keep sending emails, even when i'm not replying right away. you guys keep me sane. =)

amgine, liz, yep, busy-busy the past weeks, pero buhay pa ko ngayon. =P

binut, nameless yung godmother ko para hindi matawagan ng iba. hehehe! ;-D

furness and reeyuh, the CM role wasn't that bad. may back-up naman ako who was with the CM group for a year now. so when we were pressed to do a production build, he made sure i'm following all the steps correctly. a day before i took over the CM role, the build machine was wiped out (read: reformatted by the stupid backup installation CD that was left on the stupid CD-ROM by some stupid jackass, excuse me, kainis lang kasi eh =P), so we had to rebuild the OS and all the stuff installed in it before we did the production build. we tried several times within 2 days before it came through.

it was hell, but we survived. =) my life at work is back to normal. at least, to the most normal level it could get. =P

  • btw reeyuh, yung config software namin is Merant Version Manager. works with the Tracker thing. similar to ClearCase, but with Windows interface.
