Thank God!!!
finally... after almost 6 months of searching, applying, interviews, and online exams, i finally got a job offer!!!
i received the job offer packet this morning. actually, je got it from the fedex guy (who probably just left it on the door again), and opened the packet while i still lay in bed, half-awake. he read the first few lines, and i felt like i was doused with cold water! i'm suddenly all awake! =P
it's an IT position for C++ and Unix developer. the job title is Programmer Analyst II, but the job description is pretty much the same as the one i left in Pinas. the benefits were great, the office is just 15-20 minutes drive from home, it's close to my in-laws' office, and the pay is good. what more can i ask for? ah! a kick-ass supervisor or techlead. hehehe!
my first day of work is tentatively on March 27. i still have a drug test tomorrow, and some paper works to take care of. but the hardest part is over, now i just need to focus on surviving. hehehe!
maraming salamat sa lahat ng nagdasal for me. it hasn't been an easy ride looking for a job:

maraming salamat sa lahat ng nagdasal for me. it hasn't been an easy ride looking for a job:
- thanks to my hubby, ever-supportive, ever-understanding, ever-positive, ever-everything that a wife could ever ask for in this lifetime. *hugs* he's my #1 fan. =D
- thanks to my mama and papa and bro, for being supportive, AS ALWAYS. they are willing to bum out 9 hours at home while i go to work. i hope i'd be able to compensate with quality time. =) at least i know where to get the money from for the next plane ticket home!
- to my in-laws, for helping me look for jobs, hehehe!
- to my friends, for praying for me and being there whenever i'm down and being a pain and a pessimist.
- to suzzy, for teaching me how to pray. =) it works mare! hehehe!
- and to those who were able to keep secrets. there were a few folks who learned about this before i got the actual job offer package. thanks for keeping it shush. you know who you are. ;-)
- and to the character references on my resume, Bill, Todd, Tine and Ree, for putting up at least one or two lies to give me leverage out there. mwehehehe! =P
