congrats Edrie!
check this out: Exodus movie. i dunno how good this movie is story-wise, pero all i know is i'm proud that the special effects supervisor is none other than our good friend Edrie Ocampo! =)
jedi jot sent the link above, mentioning Edrie's name as head of the special effects production team for Exodus. then i got another email from tenten, that Edrie's team bagged the best in special effects from Manila Film Festival. damn, goin' big time eh? =) the team was named Ignite Media. even before the awards were given out, it look like Exodus is already a favorite, as mentioned in this article.
kaya pala ang tagal ng wedding album/videos namin, may ibang kina-career itong si pareng Edrie! (yep, his first-born is one of my inaanaks) well, that's "forgivable". i wouldn't have forgiven him if they didn't bring the bacon home. it was worth the delay, hehehe! to those who don't know yet, Edrie was the main man behind the pics, videos and the cool AVPs nung wedding namin last August 2005. he said my wedding will probably be the last wedding he will cover. he might be looking ahead by this time. who knows, we have a big kada, more weddings coming up that he couldn't say NO to. =P
i wonder if i'll be seeing Bong Revilla on our wedding vids. hehehe! better not mix up the Exodus effects with our tapes! =P

More accolades for the B-kada! Yippee!
As a self-titled critic of manila filmfest, Exodus did boast of great cg. better than mulawin really. I just wish i could say the same for the props and script but that's not edrie's fault na hehehe :D

forgot to mention, we have a lot of photographer clients that's under the wppp umbrella (wedding and portrait photographers in the philippines) but i can say edrie's work on your wedding was the best i saw yet.
or maybe bias lang ako hehehe!

mel and edrie did the Mulawin fx for tv. iba yung gumawa nung sa movie? nanghinayang siguro sila. hehehe! humahataw na naman mga tropangB. hehehe! ;-)
