Christmas anik-anik
it was our first Christmas as a couple.
we spent Christmas Eve sa mom-in-law ko, di kami nagluto eh, so nakikain kami dun. hehehe! we heard the 12 midnight mass, so technically speaking, inabot kami ng pasko sa church. antagal ng mass, 1:30am natapos, eh 11:30pm pa lang andun na kami. yung first 30 minutes pala, carols lang. anyways, so pagbalik sa bahay nila mommy lody, bukasan na ng regalo tapos kain ulet! i got a hydrotherapy foot spa, a t-shirt, a tube of lotion, a starbucks gift card and a bamboo club gift card. after that uwian na kami. before going to bed, i called up home, nakausap ko si bro at si mommy letty. earlier that day, tumawag na sila mama at papa, antok na kasi sila, they didn't wait for Christmas Eve na. =P
Christmas morning, i'm all hyped up! kasi di pa kami nag-gift-giving ni je dun sa mga in-laws ko. so we have our own gift-giving session. =)
i got him an AE sweater (which fits him perfectly! pogi nya lalo pag suot nya, hehehe!), and a massaging pillow for his lower back (tumatanda na kasi, sumasakit na likod).
he got me, well, a lot of stuff! i got 3 DVDs (Mr.&Mrs.Smith, Chicago, Speed), a book (Memoirs of a Geisha, i have one in the Phils, pero di ko pa nababasa and i have to leave it, so he got me a new one! lagi ko kasing nababanggit pag nakikita ko yung trailer ng movie eh), a cd (Chicago soundtrack, alam nyang fave ko!), and a food chopper (lagi kasi akong umiiyak pag nagchochop ng onions). i asked him to stay away from the chopper. he's a mad scientist in the kitchen eh, baka kung ano ang ma-chop nya. =P
the Chicago DVD was the hardest to find daw. he ended up buying from amazon, best buy, blockbuster at isa pang store which i forgot. nagpanic buying kasi hindi nya alam if he could find a widescreen version that will get in before Christmas. eventually, one widescreen version made it! woo-hoo!
and dig this. nagbalot sya ng regalo, afternoon ng Dec.24. mega-panic si mister kasi hindi nya mabalot-balot with me around. sumuko na sya, he told me not to get out of our bedroom until he says so, and he locked himself up sa computer room wrapping gifts. =P
it could've been the perfect Christmas kung kasama ko lang family ko dito. pero knowing they are all alive and healthy is enough reason for me to be thankful for, kahit di kami magkakasama. and besides, we'll be able to spend another Christmas with them, sooner or later. =)

first xmas din namin ni mister *wink* .. spent xmas eve with my dad and sisteret.. tapos xmas day, punta kami dito sa zambo.. new yr dito na din :) walang humpay na kainan.. hehe.. regards na lang sa mister mo ha.. :)
