post-Christmas anik-anik

day after Christmas. we were too lazy to cook breakfast, so we decided to eat out. IHOP to be specific. heavenly pancakes, sausages, eggs, hams, bacons, hashbrowns... we knew we could skip lunch with the kind of breakfast we had. =P

and we did. we just went around to shop, post-Christmas sales. =P pero wala kaming nabili masyado. at nakakatamad pumila, daming tao! so we headed home after picking a few things we're gonna need for....

our home theater system!!! =) yep, after almost 2 years sa closet ni je, ikakabit na namin yung home theater system nya. we had fun putting it together, and planning the "blueprint" for the cords. we opted to staple the wires na lang, instead of drilling holes on the walls. by staple, we mean the industrial strong staplers, the one that pldt folks use. hehehe!

there was one time when he almost stapled my finger to the wall! i was holding the wires, i said "sa ibaba ng daliri ko", he kept on talking about something (which i now forgot was all about) and guess where he aimed the stapler? right on the nail on my index finger lang naman! i shouted "daliri ko yan, baba, baba!". he was laughing his ass off, while i was still recovering from shock from a potential surgery. daldalan kasi kami, and it seems like a routinary work, so we weren't really paying much attention at times. =P

after hours of work, we tried the home theater system. we popped in the Lion King dvd, and boy, we were in the middle of the jungle! je ran towards the kitchen, thinking he's gonna get run over by an elephant. =P

i can't believe it, earlier in the morning of Dec.26, i bumped my head sa pinto ng bedroom bath namin.

i was in hurry to get out, i pushed the door, then hurriedly (stupidly) pulled it too soon to close it. wham! nauntog ako!!! nahilo ata ako, and i thought i saw stars. still i was able to gracefully walk out to the living room and magsumbong kay je. after a few seconds, i felt a lump forming on my forehead. whadaf?!?!?

the last time na nagkabukol ata ako was more than a decade ago! di ko pa rin matanggap!

and what's worse, i bumped my head again later that day, sa corner ng tv namin while we were putting up the home theater system, ON THE SAME SPOT...

bukol within a bukol? talk about bad luck! chaket! :'(
