what goes around, comes around. karma.

je has been the object of my taunting whenever he's in the kitchen. there was this one time he switched on an electric coil when he intends to switch on the adjacent one. result? nasunog yung takip ng "maling" electric coil ng kalan namin, at hindi man lang uminit yung kaldero sa kanyang "target" coil. there was a nasty black spot on the tin can cover, and the paint chipped away.

yesterday, i was on the phone with mama, discussing the closure of US Embassy due to threats of terrorist attack. i was multitasking, preparing dinner, preparing a chicken sandwich spread, talking on the phone, and watching tv. a faint, familiar smell, then smoke! i instinctly grabbed the tin can cover, then immediately pulled back my hand. mainit!

so you know what happened there. kakatukso ko kay je, na-karma ako. 2 out of 4 tin can covers are now burnt. and "my" burnt cover was worse, it was black all over. not only that, i also have a burnt middle finger. =(

something tells me, i will get my own dose of taunting and teasing when i'm in the kitchen in the days to come.

papa's been sick for a few days now. katelebabad ko sya for two consecutive mornings na, and his voice is still husky as it was last week. i was getting worried, pero ok naman daw sya, getting better na.

yesterday, kausap ko naman kapatid ko, he said it was really cold in the mornings. tinatamad nga sya maligo eh. looks like it's also gonna be flu season back home.

you guys better bundle up, at wag kayong lalabas na basa ang buhok pag madaling araw at malamig. just some tips i got when i was battling winter back in Ohio. =) a little public service announcement might help.
