DH Reeyuh, handheld mixers and Grease

got to talk to ria this morning. it was so great talking with her again! =) it was almost midnight dun sa HK nung nagkausap kami, i'm really glad late matulog minsan yon. hehehe! namiss ko bigla ang bruha! hehehe! it was the first time na makausap ko sya since i got here sa US eh. the last time we talked was nung wedding ko pa. actually, day after the wedding na yon, kasi wala naman sa akin yung phone ko nung wedding day itself, kaya di ko natanggap yung mga tawag nya. hehehe!

we could've talked forever! well, maybe not forever kasi good for 6 hours yung phone card na binili ko. oh well, may natira pa naman eh, tatawag na lang ulet ako. whatever it is we talked about, sa amin na lang yon, mweheheh! till our next chika bespren! i miss you na! =)

we ordered this nice handheld mixer/crusher from amazon last week. it's a neat piece of kitchen appliance-thingy. last night, napag-trip-an naming gamitin so we decided to make some peach shake.

so mega prepare na kami ng gamit... nakalabas na lahat ng ingredients at kumuha na ng ice si mister para i-crush. nilagyan pa namin ng half-and-half (half part creamer, half part milk). nagkatinginan pa kami nung sinara nya yung container kasi excited na kaming gamitin. i even bent forward to see the see-through container, kasi gusto ko makita in action eh. then he pressed the button...

*whirrrr, crash-crash-crash, splat......*

sows, kumalat sa buong kitchen yung crushed ice at half-and-half... sa damit namin, sa pinto ng fridge, sa kitchen window, sa floor! it turns out, malakas pala yung mixer, at hindi masyadong nakasara yung container. and imagine me, naka-bent forward pa, so pati sa mukha ko may tumalsik na onti. imbes na mainis sa katangahan namin, natawa na lang kami. hehehe!

it's often a disaster pag magkasama kami sa kitchen ni je. pero pag mag-isa lang ako, or sya, ok naman kinalalabasan ng mga experimento namin. maybe we should have 2 kitchens na lang. hehehe!

we watched the musical Grease on TV last weekend. tawa kami ng tawa sa mga dance steps! classic talaga! and that was real COOOOL way back then. =P we looove the get-ups and hair styles best, and John Travolta's sexy moves, of course! mwehehehe!

nun lang namin napanood nang buo yung Grease, mababaw lang pala ang story. well, that's what made it a musical in the first place. hehehe!

funny thing, after watching the movie, nagready na kami kasi lalabas kami that evening. we found out pareho kaming na-LSS sa isang kanta don... "Summer Nights"... at dun pa sa same part that goes "well, well, well, well, tell me more, tell me more...."... hahaha!

buti na lang di kami sumayaw ni je palabas ng front yard. that WOULD make our neighbor's weekend. hehehe!
