bakasyones
i suddenly felt i need to write this down...
i am sooo looking forward to coming home sa December. it has been 3 years since i spent Christmas and New Year with my family. the only other time i missed the holidays was when i was an onsite engineer in Dayton. that was Christmas 2003. hayyy.
i'm trying to plot out our schedule na... if we're taking Dec.19-Jan.6, we have 16 days total in pinas (if you're doing the math, subtract the travel time and time zone differences)...
- 3 days for hitting the beach,
- 2 days for the Sarah-supporters EB,
- 4 days for the holidays (Pasko, New Year, at mga bisperas),
- 1 day for my bro's bday.
10 days na?! so i only have 6 more days to meet with friends and enemies. hahaha! pati enemies daw talaga. =P
- 1 day for my elem kada (si kate na lang ata? haha!),
- 1 day for the HS kada (lagas na rin, nagkalat na, lalo na mga gerls),
- 1 day for college kada (kasama na ba dinner treat ni liz dito? hmmmm),
- 1 day for SPI peeps,
- 1 day for childhood friends in the neighborhood (malamang sa jollibee, dahil may mga bitbit na anakis)
simultaneously, my aunts will pack our luggages for us. i hope. tita Hydee is the wonder packer. *lol* that doesn't sound right hmmmm. anyways, she can pack an elephant inside a balikbayan box if her life depends on it. haha! our only prob now is the weight limit, which the airlines dropped because of the rising fuel costs. oh well.
as for the schedule... we might need to "buffer" some gimiks... like lunch with a groupie, then dinner with another groupie, in the same day. i definitely would want to meet with my friends more than once. based on experience, we can't seem to stop talking once we get together.
i've lost touch with the others. it's time to catch up. plenty of time to sleep when you're dead. it would have been nice if a lot of our friends would be home for the holidays too. this is a sign of getting old, when your friends were blown by fate, luck, work and generally, by life, to other parts of the world. well, if we can't bring home some folks.. then we go to them.
next time, reunion naman sa Hawaii. oh, and that will buffer our 3-day-beach-gimik into other gimiks. sweet. =D
