strike 2, out!
i was too overwhelmed with the sarah concert news, that i forgot to blog about something more important.
last saturday, je discovered that our backyard's wooden fence was vandalized... blue spray paint spelled the word "c r i p b x ..." and some letters and numbers. some sort of a code. it was disturbing.
2 months ago, we were burglarized. ngayon naman, vandalized. i'm afraid that all bad things ending with -ized will happen to us. i'm just thankful na hindi yung mismong bahay ang pininturahan, or yung kotse!
i take that as a sign for us to move na talaga. the neighborhood is not safe na. especially pag family na talaga kami. how would i explain to my kids that some drug dealers marked our fence so that their rival gang will not dare sell their dope in that territory? and if there are dope pushers in our area, doesn't it say a lot about the security in general?
we're giving up the 5-minute convenient drive to super walmart... all the fancy stores and restos in the vicinity... the hospital, the fire station, the elementary school... it makes me angry that while we're paying huuuuge property, county and whatever-they-wanna-charge-us taxes, the security of the place is still being compromised. baket?!
pagbalik namin galing pinas, we will actively look for a new place na. for sure it's gonna be more expensive, pero ok lang, basta mas safe. tipid-tipid na lang. (but i'm still going to that sarah concert ha! hehehe!) hubby je is considering a house within a gated community, definitely much safer, it's like the gated subdivisions in pinas. but it's going to be a 40-50-minute drive from his work. as for me, probably the same, or at the most, plus 10 minutes.
in the meantime, pinaplano na namin yung setup namin pag nagbakasyon kami sa pinas. we need to move all electronics to my in-law's place... tv, air compressor, dvd player, wii, lawn mower, pc, etc. mahirap na, baka magdala pa ng uhaul truck yung mga magnanakaw, and our neighbors will be clueless and think we're just moving out. limos ang bahay namin non!
wish us luck sa paghahanap ng bahay next month! sana may mura na ok! hayyy, stressful!

Shucks! Ang dami niyong gagawin bago kayo magbakasyon. =( Pero di bale enjoy naman yan pag nasa Pinas na.
