let's sing it! all together now!

this morning at breakfast, alfredo suddenly challenged me to sing "Bahay Kubo". i stared at him for a moment and then realize i have forgotten the lyrics!!! :-O

i started "bahay kubo, kahit munti, ang halaman doon ay sari-sari"... then trailed off. di ko maalala yung kasunod!

but i kept going, "singkamas at talong, sigarilyas at mani. " then paused again. come. on. it's one of the first few songs i learned in pre-school! i repeated myself "sigarilyas at mani...". i can't remember! =)

then i proceeded with "kundol, patola, labanos, mustasa. at saka mayron pang labanos, mustasa"... and there i realized i repeated a couple of veggies. alfredo was hysterically laughing at me now. =P

i left home for work, frustrated. i can't remember the damn song! i kept singing it in my head while i drive, but i still couldn't find the words! i know the beat, i know some parts, but i can't fill in the gaps.
